Located in one of the most convenient areas of Kos, the hotel is just 50 m from the sandy Lambi beach, 4 km from the centre of Kos town and the harbour, whilst the shopping centre is 2 km away. The hotel is also some 24 km from the airport. It enjoys magnificent views of the Aegean Sea. Guests can relax and unwind with drinks in the lobby bar and poolside bar. The hotel also has a beautiful chapel, the perfect setting for a wedding or religious celebration. All modern and luxurious rooms, suites and maisonettes enjoy superb garden, pool or sea views from the balcony or terrace. Guests can also relax in the hotel SPA, which is one of the largest in Kos. There are also tennis / basketballcourts , as well as an outdoor pool area.
Our stay at Diamond Deluxe Hotel was perfect from start to finish! The grounds of the hotel are beautiful, well tended and peaceful. The pool area is spacious with ample sun loungers. Our room was modern, spacious and very comfortable, and was cleaned to a very high standard every day. Every member of staff we encountered was professional yet friendly and made us feel very welcome; a special mention has to be given to Vodha and Kostas (Emerald Restaurant) who were exceptional! The menu for both breakfast and dinner was varied and everything we had was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. We will be back Diamond Deluxe!
Lovely hotel with excellent facilities & really helpful staff in all departments.
This hotel was nice; however, I wouldn’t say it had 5 star value. A lot of the furniture is quite old and has clearly seen some wear and tear over the years.
We had a lovely swim up room, which was absolutely brilliant. This meant we had our own double sunbeds for the whole week, so we didn’t have to worry about any “sunbed wars”! From walking around the pool area, there also seemed to be plenty of normal sunbeds available, so finding a space didn’t appear to be an issue. We absolutely cannot fault the pool itself. It was lovely, with so much space that you never felt like you were getting in anyone’s way. The rooms were also very nice and came with a makeup mirror, which I personally thought was a great touch.
Unfortunately, our experience with some of the pool/bar staff really let the hotel down. We found them to be extremely rude towards us, which actually put us off ordering anything for the rest of the holiday. We ended up buying our own drinks and snacks from the supermarkets instead.
On our first day, we went to the bar to place a drink order and were spoken to quite patronisingly, as we were told that we were supposed to ring the phone in our room to place an order. We were more than happy to simply walk up to the bar and order our own drinks, so we found this quite strange. We were then told that we could order from staff walking around the pool, but during our stay, we never actually saw anyone walking around taking orders.
We also ordered some food to eat outside by the pool, and the plates and cups were still there when we went to bed at around 11:30pm. This was disappointing, as it meant we couldn’t take any nice photos outside our room because of the dirty dishes being left there.
We also found the woman working in the hotel market to be quite rude towards us. Unfortunately, these experiences really affected our overall impression of the hotel, and because of this, we wouldn’t choose to stay here again. That being said, a big shoutout to the lovely lady who was checking guests in at breakfast, she was absolutely wonderful and always so friendly!
Location wise, the hotel is quite out of the way. The beach opposite was also extremely windy during our stay, so we didn’t really get to experience it properly (although, of course, that isn’t the hotel’s fault).
One thing we would definitely recommend, though, is heading down to Steve’s Bikes. You can rent bikes for the week and even park them right outside your room in the allocated spaces. We found this fantastic for getting into Kos Town for lunch and dinner, and it made the hotel’s more remote location much easier to manage.
Overall, we had some really lovely aspects to our stay, particularly the swim-up room and the pool, but the customer service from some of the staff unfortunately stopped the hotel from feeling like a 5-star experience for us.
Where do I start ? This hotel is quite simply amazing. The location, the view, the room, the food , the pools and the staff. We have already booked for next year. We like our adults only hotels and this is probably the best we have stayed at. Even though the hotel can be full there is always subbed available and the pool is empty most days. It’s literally 10 meters from a private beach with the most amazing sun loungers and bar service at the beach too. Entering the water at the beach is a bit of a challenge due to rocks but once in the water is beautiful so make sure you take beach boots. The food at breakfast is exceptional and a good variety especially the freshly cooked menu I had a Greek omelette most mornings and it was superb. All of the staff our so nice and friendly not matter what nothing is too much trouble. Special shout out to Mary in the shop and Vodka the waiter he knows who he is. Really made our recent stay special. The pool bar evening staff are also great fun and very helpful. Good entertainment on an evening especially Mickey Malibu singer/guitarist very good. The Dj was also very good. We have already booked for next year.
This is a little gem located in Lambi. This is now our 3rd time at Diamond Deluxe and we loved it as much as we did when we first stayed here in July 2024. We will be back again in July 2027. As a couple we highly recommend booking a swim-up room with terrace, it's like your own very little apartment with pool side access and your own double sun loungers/umbrella dedicated to your room. Rooms are kept very clean, daily and towels changed daily (when requested) We loved it. The breakfast is superb and amazing quality which sets you up for the entire day until early evening dinner. We rented two bicycles and cycled into Kos Town every evening, it's a short cycle of no more than 10 minutes on dedicated (safe) cycling lanes from directly outside the hotel all the way into Kos. Great keep to burn off all the good Greek food and drink.
This hotel is very quiet and relaxing and great for those that prefer to be away from the noisy Kos Town. You can take it or leave it so to speak. The hotel isn't cheap, however you get what you paid for (it's good value for money based on what is provided) and this place we believe will ensure you can re-charge your batteries ready for returning to normal life again feeling refreshed and wanting to go back.
All the staff at hotel are very friendly and the service is always prompt and flawless. The atmosphere is relaxed and quiet. You will get a good nights sleep as we have never experienced any noise throughout the night from other guests.
We can't wait to go back in July 2027 and will be booking a swim-up room with terrace again!
