Labranda Marine Aquapark Resort

We nearly didn't book this hotel due to some of the recent reviews but I'm so glad we did.

We have just returned from a lovely family holiday with our 10 and 5 year olds. The rooms were spacious and beautifully clean. We had upgraded to a superior side sea view which was well worth the money and in a great location. The pool areas were great fun, we all enjoyed the slides and the wave pool which was on lots during our stay. We never once struggled to find 4 sunbeds and a parasol. The pools open at 10 which was nice as the mornings seemed a little more relaxed and no rushing to claim beds! The animation team work really hard, all the staff do!

The location is a little more remote than we have booked previously but it's right on the beach, it has amazing sunsets and is only a short bus ride into Kos town which is really worth a trip! My children loved the little cars you could hire to drive around the hotel for 10euros.

The mini disco was similar to what we have experienced previously at other hotels, lots of classic holiday songs for the little ones to dance away too. Yes there are things that you can buy that cost a little extra like branded drinks and popcorn but you don't have to do this. There is plenty of choice for food and drinks and I can honestly say we never once waited for a table. It did get busy occasionally but I thought the staff did a wonderful job of clearing tables quickly and preparing lots of gorgeous food!!

I would recommend this to hotel other families!

Lovely hotel all you could ask for plenty of sunbeds we came with 3 young children who had non stop fun on the slides and pool. The apartment was keep clean and tidy by the amazing staff the apartment is modern with air conditioning in both bedrooms. The all inclusive bar was within walking distance of all the pools and the adult only pool has its own bar. Overall a very good holiday thank you.

Just returned from a 10 day stay at White Olive Marine Aquapark, group of 7 of us including grandparents and 3 children aged 9, 7 and 5. We had the best time at this hotel. It is set on a large plot so didn’t feel over crowded. Plenty of sun beds and 4 pools offering something for all of our party. My kids really enjoyed the splash pool with the slides, as well as the main pool with the waves. The pool area was hosed down and cleaned every morning. I’ve seen previous reviews saying the pools weren’t clean. I would completely disagree with this. The splash pool has some dried grass on one of the edges where the kids jump in and out of the pool to go on the slides but this is understandable. Daily Aqua gym was so much fun and so many people joined in. The animation team worked so hard to give everyone a great time. It was nice to visit the peaceful adult only pool and do a few lengths, and any children were told to leave when they attempted to come in. Ice creams are available in the restaurant during the dining hours so children can go in and take. Also there’s a very reasonably priced ice cream place by the pool. My kids each had an ice cream with a topping and we paid 5 euros for all 3. The snack bar was really handy, serving salads, chips, pizza and grilled meats. The pizza man struggled to keep up with demand, which wasn’t helped by greedy holiday makers taking an entire pizza when there was a queue of 15 people! The food in the restaurant was plentiful, with so much choice for everyone. A little chaotic during busy periods but always managed to get a large table quickly for our party of 7. Had a meal in the à la carte restaurant one night which made a nice change and the food was very nice with great views. Worth booking as soon as you arrive as it does get booked up quickly.

We had a family apartment, and found it to be spacious with a main bedroom and a lounge area with two beds set up. There was a double wardrobe and desk area with plenty of space, and another area with kettle and fridge. All done out very nicely and to a good standard. My daughter left an opened bag of popcorn in the room one night and by morning there were ants coming in. This was dealt with promptly by staff and we had no other issues with any insects. This is the only hotel I’ve been to that hasn’t charged to use the safe. It was a 10 euro deposit, which you got back when the key was returned. Towels can be hired for 10 euro deposit and changed daily if needed.

The hotel is situated in what I would describe as a semi rural location. It was easy to get the bus into Kos town for 2 euros an adult and 1 euro for children and took around 15 minutes. We also went on the pirate boat trip to pserimos island booked via tui, and the Greek night at Zia. Would definitely recommend the Greek night as the venue was beautiful with amazing food and Greek dancing. We hired the kids electric cars on the complex at 10 euros for 30 minutes, which was a highlight for my children. My son attended the kids club and enjoyed doing arts and crafts and activities with the other children.

My only fault with the hotel is that the locks are broken on some of the toilets by the pool area. You can see they’ve tried to put them back on but have been broken off again. Some stronger bolts would do the trick. I genuinely don’t understand why anyone would give this hotel a low rating. The staff were always helpful, and worked very hard to give everyone a great time!
