This beach hotel is situated on the south side of Mykonos Island, just 100 m from the beach of Platis Gialos and around 4 km from Chora town. Platis Gialos is famous for its well-organised beach with a variety of restaurants, mini markets and water sports. Mykonos airport is approximately 4 km from the hotel.
The hotel was built in 2010 displaying traditional Cyclades architecture, with the white building and blue windows a representative sample of the island's style. There is a breakfast area and snack bar on the terrace.
All of the rooms are spacious and designed with warm colour tones. The furniture marries the classic with the modern. Each room features an en suite bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer, a double bed, individually regulated air conditioning and heating, and a private balcony. Other in-room amenities include a direct dial telephone, satellite TV, Internet access, a safe and a fridge.
Sun loungers and parasols can be hired for a fee on the nearby sandy beach.
A breakfast buffet is served each morning.
Be sure to enjoy recreational amenities including an outdoor pool and a fitness centre. Additional features at this hotel include complimentary wireless Internet access, babysitting (surcharge) and a television in a common area.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

This was our second stay at the Argo Hotel, and once again, it did not disappoint. In fact, if anything, we appreciated it even more the second time around.
The family who run The Argo are honestly some of the nicest people you could wish to meet. Thanasis and his sister, Stavroula are absolutely wonderful and run the hotel to perfection. From the beautiful rooms and immaculate surroundings, to the lovely staff and the genuinely personal service, everything is just so well thought out. Thanasis has also clearly picked his staff to perfection, they're always so friendly, happy and helpful and nothing ever seems too much trouble
What makes Argo really special, though, is the people. Thanasis is so personable and welcoming, and you can tell that he genuinely cares about his guests and takes enormous pride in the hotel and what he has created.
It’s one of those rare places where you arrive and immediately feel comfortable and looked after. Nothing is too much trouble, and there’s a lovely warmth to the whole place that you just don’t get everywhere.
If you could pick up a hotel and take it with you to every destination in the world, Argo would be that hotel for us. We’ll definitely be back for a third stay! ❤️
Fantastic service from a wonderful team. They helped arrange some flowers for my wife at short notice and gave us a wonderful room. A fantastic well run hotel where they really look after you. Small touches like the owner (?) greeting you at breakfast and the staff saying goodbye really added up to make it a truly memorable stay. Very close to two great beaches in easy walking distance
Back at The Argo. Been coming here every year for ten years. The location, service, breakfast outside beside the pool, lunch and dinner in The Avli restaurant, rooms, atmosphere and value are all 5 out of 5. I would give it all 6 out of 5. It’s a fantastic hotel.
Beautiful hotel in the middle of everything and still relaxing and quiet. Staff goes above and beyond. Breakfast by the pool it was awesome and the girls who work there so polite nice and hard working. Thank you so much for everything. Definitely I will be back.
Amazing place, wonderful staff. Two pools!
