Sun Palace

W great experience overall. The staff were so friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and serviced every day ( We were in apartment 514), we had booked 2 separate rooms beside eachother which they tried to get but the rooms would have been too far away from eachother and we have autistic son, so the offered us a newly renovated apartment The food in the main restaurant was perfect and if you miss any meals at the restaurant the snack bars by the pools are just as good, so no need to rush down for breakfast. Noise level was no issue at all. The location and amenties at the hotel were fantastic and only a short walk away is the Main Strip/ Beach of Faliraki A good all round atmosphere was all around. I would recommend this hotel for families. Couldnt be more positive. Reception staff, dinig staff everything ... Well Done To You All at The Sun Palace Hotel

I have to start with the rooms. Reading the mixed reviews I was a bit worried and that became real when we where placed on the baggage cart and drove the back of beyond to a room that looked like the front door was being he’d together with blue electricians tape down the door. The handle didn’t work and you had to literally slam the door to get the latch to close. Before you could lock it with the key.

The water park was ok, lack of floats for the rides ment waiting quite a while as people just kept them knowing they would have to wait longer for another ride. The wave pool is a let down. Find it hard to call it a wave pool tbh. Some basic lack of maintaining stuff like barriers sun Loungers etc

The same as in with other reviews the night life starts of ok but reminds me of songs around Christmas time when all you here is the same, all I want for Xmas is you every time 10mins.

Noise from the acc was like sleeping or trying to relax next to a car crusher. Apart from that it would have been quite we where that far from the main resort.

In the 7 nights we have been here I have seen the cleaning crew once and that was when they let them selfs in a 8.30am while me and my son where still fast asleep. Which was quite disturbing.

For the amount of money I spent on the holiday I can comfortably say I’m very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend going here for the price you pay.

We are 2 adults and 2 children and firstly we was told by the rep when we booked that this place was great . Upon arrival we had a grumpy old man check us in and never said 1 word to us . Our room was not suitable as our 2 children would be sleeping in the same bed however the did give us another room. We have a child who is allergic to milk and was told they would provide meals for him , however they tried to give our chid pizza among other food that contains milk of milk products . Also they did not have any sorbet for our child and would not provide anything for them .They had no idea about cross contamination or any food hygiene. I watched a member of staff cooking pancakes then sneeze and coughed into her gloves then proceed to handle the pancakes. The food was always the same stuff no variety , cold or not cooked . The drinks machine was always flat or warm , we did speak to a member of staff about this a few times but nothing ever got done about it. Over half the sunbeds were broken if you was lucky enough to get one it was more comfortable sitting on the floor. The entertainment team were great with the kids through.
