- Atlantica Dreams Resort

The luxurious Atlantica Dreams Resort & Spa is beautifully located right on the beach, overlooking the crystal clear waters of the Aegean Sea. Ideal for couples and families alike, the resort aims to set a new agenda in the term 'modern luxury' by fueling the senses and making everybody feel cared for.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We stayed at the Atlantica Dreams at the end of July and had a good holiday. We'd say it is more of a 4 star resort, although certainly some 5 star qualities.
Pros:
-TUI entertainment was amazing - the team worked really hard! The evening QuizStorm was great fun! The Tui children's team were brilliant - always so enthusiastic and full of energy. They all worked incredibly hard -Some really friendly resort staff -The grounds are beautifully kept and maintained. Very clean too -The mexican food van was very popular. We only used it once but it was great!
Cons: -I know it's very 'first worldy' but our bathroom (family swim up room with sliding doors) was very small. The bathroom door opened right onto the toilet, and the towel rails were right by the toilet which we found quite unhygenic. With more than one of us in there, it was cramped. For a 5 star rating, we'd expected more room -Towels, both room and pool/beach need updating. Some were very thin and a couple had holes in -Food was ok - to be honest we were a little disappointed. There were some lovely fresh dishes, but in the main the food was repetitive and there could have been more pre-prepared salad dishes. The al a carte restaurants were disappointing too - we were really looking forward to our burgers at Liberty but they were very overcooked and dry. The family next to us thought the same. -Really long queues at the Beach Bar and the bar tender on 2 occasions ignored our 9 year old son to serve other adults when he had clearly been waiting before them. -On 2 mornings the queue for breakfast was huge! But to be fair the staff worked so very hard and did their very best to manage it best they could -Perhaps more shade could be provided around the pool areas -As others have mentioned, the difference in sun loungers between the family areas and adult only areas seems unfair!
We enjoyed our holiday very much, but a few tweaks would definately help lift it! We thank all the hard working staff
We stayed as a family last week. Overall it was a lovely stay.
As others have mentioned although this is a 5 star resort, I feel the food certainly in the buffet is not to 5 star standard. As a family with children we expect it to be busy etc but we felt it was very chaotic and hard to have a conversation as it was very loud. I witnessed a couple of times children using hands on food and even a child using a spoon to eat some sprinkles for ice cream and putting it back in the bowl for others to use. I did let staff know.
At breakfast they took a drinks order however after asking for a cappuccino I was told to use the machine myself which I felt was not up to standard,
We used the adults only breakfast while the kids used the kids club in this was like a word of difference compared to the main area and so much more enjoyable.
Used 3 restaurants while at the resort and all really lovely: the Italian restaurant I felt rushed us through our meal though and couldn’t wait to serve our food.
We was in block 7, our pool was under a tree and felt the cleaning of this could have been better as we had to ask for it to be cleaned, once asked it was done immediately.
Elina, the pool waitress is amazing! She works so hard and friendly and happy! She deserves credit.
We would definitely return to the resort and enjoyed our week.
The layout of this resort is excellent and it feels plush. Adults only areas, family pools, adults only breakfast restaurant. The staff are the standout feature though. They are helpful and go out of their way supporting guests.
We have stayed in a number of five star resorts, especially in Turkiye. This resort is not quite at the five star standard we have enjoyed previously. The following are the things we found frustrating:
Overall we had a nice holiday but we won't be back again as the food for us is a very important aspect of the holiday and it felt short of being five star.
Our son took part in the masters football camp. I highly recommend this, he thoroughly himself and the coaching was excellent. This was most definitely the highlight of our holiday.
My daughter and I had our hair done by Sofia. She was excellent both friendly and professional. I would high recommend her
Had a wonderful time at the Aegeo Spa, Jenny was an excellent therapist and provided the most wonderful experience and massage. Thank you!
