This hotel is located in Kiotari, only some 800 m from the beach and approximately 15 km from Lindos and its famous Acropolis.
The hotel is situated on a small hill, offering excellent views out over the sea and the pine forest. It comprises a total of 214 double and superior rooms, in addition to a lobby area with a reception desk manned around the clock, a hotel safe, and lift access. Culinary options include the wonderful Main Sunset restaurant, where guests will enjoy a wide range of delicious dishes. It is also possible to make use of the Diogenis Beach snack restaurant. Further facilities available include a currency exchange facility, both car and motorcycle hire, a supermarket, a kids club where younger guests may let off steam, a laundry service (charges apply), and parking for those arriving by car.
All rooms come with an en suite bathroom with bathtub and hairdryer, centrally regulated air conditioning, a direct dial telephone, satellite TV, in-house music channels, a small fridge, a room safe, and either a balcony or terrace. The standard double rooms are fitted with two single beds (which can be connected), and can be supplied on request with an extra bed. Superior rooms feature a double bed in addition to a single bed, which can also be used as a sofa.
Leisure facilities at the hotel include a large pool area with separate children's pool, the Sunrise poolside snack bar, and free sun loungers and parasols laid out ready for use. Guests may also take advantage of the wide-ranging sports offerings (some for additional charges), including the spa centre, the fully equipped gym, and facilities for playing tennis, table tennis, darts, basketball, and volleyball. Water sports options include banana boating, ring boat riding, water skiing, water polo, canoeing, and pedal boating.

Excellent experience in the spa, I had a massage with faidra was amazing! Highly recommended
Lovely stay
Just returned from a lovely 10 days at the Princess Sun and all in all had a lovely stay. We are a family of 6 with children 11, 14 and 19 and all had a lovely relaxing stay. The hotel is extremely clean and well maintained. There’s no shortage of sunbeds and people don’t get up ridiculously early to reserve them as there’s no need. The food is good, in particular we really enjoyed the beach bar restaurant where the pizzas and gyros are really good quality. There’s a handy little shuttle to take you down and back from the beach, it is walkable but in the heat it can be a bit much. The watersports at the beach were more expensive than we are used to so didn’t bother. We took some beach shoes which were helpful on the stoney hot beach. While we were there the snack bar stopped serving pizza for several days which was a little disappointing as we prefer to have lunch there and evening meal in the restaurant but nothing major. They don’t do pizza in the main restaurant just the snack bar.
A couple of negatives that I thought might be worth noting
- Only one bottle of water is provided and not refilled in your room (can refill at fountains but I believe this is filtered rather than bottled) I bought more from the shop but most hotels we have stayed in provide water
- Expensive to keep the room on last day if you have a late flight home €120 until 4- so only 4 extra hours
- Key fobs got deactivated at 11.30 even though check out was 12
- Queues can be long around the pool bar as often there’s only one person serving
- Pop can be flat at at pool bar but at evening bar and restaurant fine
- Entertainment in a shed out of the front and isn’t all that great
- Nothing to do with the hotel but some guests are not very considerate to how much noise they are making while others are sleeping. The room doors slam and echo around the corridors
- Daytime entertainment could be better, a few things to do but not always obvious when it’s happening and not a great variety of activities

Family stay including treatments
Lovely experience I had a facial, head and back massage by Sanmy, it was very relaxing just what I needed
An amazing massage with Sanmy
I had an absolutely amazing massage with Sanmy at the Princess Sun Hotel in Rhodes, and I honestly can’t recommend her highly enough.
From the moment I arrived, Sanmy was incredibly warm and personable. She took the time to chat with me, asking about my family and how I was enjoying my holiday, which made the whole experience feel really personal and welcoming.
She carefully followed my spa questionnaire and tailored the massage exactly to my preferences. It was clear throughout that she is very experienced and professional, and she created such a calm and relaxing atmosphere.
By the time the massage finished, I felt completely relaxed, stress-free and refreshed — exactly what I had hoped for from a holiday spa treatment.
If you’re staying at the Princess Sun Hotel and considering a massage, I would highly recommend booking with Sanmy. She was fantastic, and I would definitely have another treatment with her!
