An absolutely fabulous experience...
We have just returned from this fabulous hotel & from check in to check out its been a wonderful experience. We were dropped off by coach at the road by the top of the hotel as coaches cant get to the hotel...the staff saw us walking to the hotel ( it really isnt far) & straight away came to help with our cases. We checked in effortlessly & were taken to our room which was a junior suite....spotless, large & comfortable...our luggage was bought to our room. Breakfast is plentiful & there is something for everyone...all extremely fresh...food served after breakfast for lunch & dinner is of a high quality...plenty of pools to choose from...small pools to the larger pool by the restaurant....no getting up early for a sunbed there were plenty...no one reserved them. Its ideally situated a 10 minute stroll to Town with its abundance of bars & restaurants. Now for the most IMPORTANT comment..the staff...they are absolutely marvellous...polite, knowledgeable...nothing to much trouble, from the cleaners to the front of house staff & all the staff behind the scenes that you dont see but keep the wheels turning. A special mention to Yvanis & Anastasia & the guy that does the most fantastic cocktails & their whole team in front of house & hospitality...each & everyone of them deserve a gold star. We have travelled extensively but I have to say this is probably the best hotel we have stayed in in Europe.

This place is amazing! The staff are kind, welcoming, funny, and helpful. We enjoyed getting to know them! The resort is impeccably clean. The pools are meticulously cared for. The location is perfect. I would definitely visit again.

Gem of Santorini
Absolutely amazing. Impeccable service, spotlessly clean, every detail is thought of, great food (breakfast included in booking but can pay for lunch, dinner, snacks and drinks), unbeatable location and wonderful atmosphere. Will absolutely be returning. Local restaurant Athiri was brilliant for coeliac! Travel to Fera town for gorgeous sunset, just as good as Oia town (eeyah) but not as busy. Blue domes are only seen in Oia town. Couldn’t ask for anything more!

Beautiful hotel with fantastic staff
I had the most amazing stay with my mother at Kastelli Resort. The rooms were beautiful and very spacious, and we had a private balcony with a pool we only shared with two other rooms — which meant it was effectively a private pool for us on top of access to the larger communal pool. The breakfast and lunch were delicious and had plenty of gluten free options. It has a great location: it is a short walk to the beach, and there is a bus stop right outside the hotel that does very regular journeys to Fira — which has onwards journeys to Oia — for only €2.20 rather than an expensive taxi.
The staff were also very attentive and friendly, which was really exemplified in their brilliant handling of us getting our flight time wrong. They were able to drive us to the airport immediately as soon as we realised, meaning we got from the hotel reception to the airport gate in a record-breaking 18 minutes. They were extremely kind and helpful about this, and provided amazing service.
With its excellent service, location, and amenities, there is nowhere else on the Island I could recommend more. Thank you Kastelli staff!
Faultless hotel
This was our second stay at this hotel. It is our 'go to' hotel for a relaxing week after a busy year. There is nothing to fault; the staff are excellent and always very helpful, the food is excellent and the location, away from the busy side of the island, is perfect. This year we hired a car for a couple of days and the reception staff organised this for us and the car was dropped off at the hotel and we just had to leave the keys at reception for the hire car company to collect. We will be back for a third time!
