Beautiful loved it
Came for our honeymoon. Stayed in room 7. Really unsure why there are a few bad reviews recently, honestly is such a lovely place to stay. Really beautiful place. Staff are excellent especially reception. The room lovely and the views amazing. Would definitely return.
Not a 5 star hotel
This hotel should not be part of the small luxury hotel group and it definitely is not a 5 star hotel… more like a 3 star. It needs maintenance, the breakfast is really bad and the only thing you pay for is the view, and you pay a high price for that!
Lovely hotel and staff
Lovely little cave like rooms, with terrace and stunning views. Food lovely. Staff cannot fault. Friendly,professional and absolute gems. Helped my friend and I out of an awful situation in the middle of night.
Place is clean. Nice restaurants locally. I'd come back again.
Only downside is if you have issues with walking as many steps to get to pool or bar area and back to road. However,room on top levels are perfect.

On The Rocks Imerovigli
Like all hotels I’ve stayed in, if the staff are great it’s a pleasant experience no matter the facilities. Same for On The Rocks. Friendly and great service but facilities great as well. The location is perfect not only for Imerovigli but also for Santorini in general. Most hotels are down steps and there can be many depending on your hotel location but On the Rocks is at the top near the taxis. Classic western views over volcano island. Only thing to keep in mind and for all the other hotels on the cliff tops is privacy can be a concern as people walk so close to you in your room area you can high five them! If an issue ask for a room with privacy. We were in 19&20. Perfect.

Beautiful view spoilt due to attitude! When no visible efforts are made to overcome the deficiency in service, as traveller you feel sorry for the owners! Santorini has given God gift to hospitality industry & one should not waste it. TV channels not working (FIFA final match), no shaving razor, ironing board asked to share that too dwarf size, vanity kit not replaced… only solace- housekeeping is good- room kept neat & clean.one of the room- no window at all (not part of booking). All of this are within reach to correct.
