This wonderful hotel is located in the beautiful tourist resort of Argassi, in the southern part of Zakynthos. It is situated close to the beach, while Argassi centre with all its bars, restaurants, shopping and entertainment options is just a few steps away. The airport is to be found some 6 kilometres away and the neighbouring city of Vasilikos is just 4 kilometres away. Ideal for families travelling with children, this complex offers accommodation units with 2 separate rooms and twin/double rooms that can accommodate up to 2 adults. The well-maintained outdoor complex offers a swimming pool, as well as a sun terrace with sun loungers and parasols. Those arriving by car can take advantage of the private parking and a poolside snack bar is available for guests' drinking options. Those needing to stay connected will appreciate the Internet corner.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

Hotel location is excellent. Close to Central Argassi, on the beach front and a 30 mins walk to Zante town. Zante town an easy busy ride away or taxi. The hotel is a big spacious hotel. Its a good basic hotel but a would not say its 4 stars. It may of been at one point. However we did not pay 4 star prices so was more than happy with the hotel. The breakfast is a good selection. Some simple changes to change up the breakfast would bring up the level of it. However its full and all an good standard. Could do with a 2nd coffee machine. Hate those juice machines, not nice quality. Pool area is good. The toliet is a bit of a treck from it. The pool bed savers are out at 7.30am. Which I do like a hotel to have a pool closed before say 10am, to stop this behaviour. There are not that many beds for the size of the hotel, but you are on the beach as well. I believe you have to pay for this beds though. The rooms are a good size with good fridges. No tea or coffee facilities which I would expect in a 4 star. The soap dispensers didn't work in the room. We stayed on the road side. It was noisy with the doors open. The doors do muffle most of the noise though when shut. The rooms are very clean. The cleaners do an excellent job in the whole hotel. The hotel is good value for money but does need a good handy man going around sizing the little things. Overall though a good hotel.
Slightly tired but perfectly acceptable particularly considering what we paid. Boring repetitive breakfast. Excellent pool but watch out for the lounger savers that come out with armfuls of towels at 7.30am. Well located between the beach and the local shops and restaurants. Watch out for the extras, tourist tax 5€ per person a night, so 70€ for a couple a week. Air conditioning was also extra after first of September, 7 € a night but essential with temperatures in mid to high 30c during the day and only down to 24c at night. Lovely friendly staff particularly the lovely young lady on reception.
We stayed at this hotel in Argassi. After mixed reviews I can only say we had a brilliant time. The staff were all so friendly and could not do enough. Special thanks to the staff in the snack bar, and the barmaid, who made our holiday so special. Also special thanks to the cleaner who cleaned our room everyday and also set put Pj’s on bed every night. ( sorry didn’t get her name). She worked on second floor and she was a joy to meet every morning. The pool was brilliant and the beach a few steps away. The sea was so warm and shallow safe for children. The hotel and location were brilliant. So good we are looking forward to returning next year. Thank you for a wonderful holiday
We agreed that this is more 3* than 4*. The rooms are quite basic, but comfortable enough. Unfortunately, despite messaging the hotel through their website after booking, to request quiet rooms, we were given rooms next to the busy & quite noisy road. With a late night bar opposite also, we were glad we brought our earplugs (standard for us when staying in hotels!). It was noisy until quite late & then again from early, but our earplugs mostly did the trick. The balconies are small & with us not having the best view, plus the noise, it put us off sitting out as much as we would. Our room also had an unpleasant sewer type smell from the bathroom....if we were staying longer, we'd have mentioned this & asked to move rooms, but we put up with it. The hotel reception areas & grounds are very nice & the staff are lovely. Very friendly & always wearing smiles when your eyes meet. A big choice of bars & restaurants especially locally. We ate at a different place every day & every meal was excellent. Hotel breakfast was basic, but OK. Just 1 juice & 1 hot drinks machine caused congestion at times, but nothing you cant deal with. Overall, pretty good value for money for our 1 week stay, family of 4, 2 rooms. I'm sure we'd have been much happier with a sea view room...opposite side of the hotel to the busy road.
We stayed at Zakantha Beach Hotel for two weeks in August 2026, and we were extremely satisfied with our stay. From the moment we arrived, we found the staff kind, helpful and welcoming, and the entire hotel was exceptionally clean and well maintained.
Our room was cleaned every single day, and we were genuinely impressed that the towels and bed sheets were also changed daily. All of the hotel areas, both indoors and outdoors, were spotless and very well looked after.
During our stay, the air conditioning was included free of charge, which was especially appreciated in the August heat. The only additional costs we had were €8 per week for the room safe, which is optional, and €10 per week in taxes, payable in cash.
The hotel also has a lovely clean sandy beach. Sunbeds on the beach cost €10 per day, but there were plenty of sunbeds around the pool, so we only paid for beach sunbeds once. That was actually our own fault because we arrived late that morning! 😊 If you want a particular spot around the pool, I would recommend getting up early and putting your towel on a sunbed around 8–9 am at the latest.
Breakfast was also very good, with plenty of choice. There was fresh watermelon, different kinds of dried fruit, Greek yoghurt, several types of eggs, cakes, small croissants, coffee, tea, juice, water, cornflakes, sausages, different types of bread and jam, cheese and salami. There was something for everyone, and we enjoyed starting our mornings there.
Overall, we had a wonderful and relaxing two-week holiday at Zakantha Beach Hotel. The cleanliness, friendly staff, beautiful beach and well-maintained facilities made our stay very enjoyable.
We would happily stay here again and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable and well-run hotel in Zakynthos. 💙🇬🇷
