This stunning hotel stands on a beautiful sandy bay, between turquoise blue water and acres of olive groves. It is only 6 km out of Zante Town on the outskirts of Tsilivi, close to a selection of bars and tavernas. This air-conditioned hotel promises guests a memorable stay with its friendly atmosphere and traditional Greek hospitality. All rooms are beautifully furnished and very comfortable, with all the amenities needed to make guests feel at home. The outdoor swimming pool with sun loungers and parasols, surrounded by the garden area, provides the seamless environment for guests to sit back and unwind. Guests can also make use of the tennis and basketball courts, complete with floodlights.
The spa itself is beautiful and the staff are amazing. I had the massage and facial and would 100% these treatments well as their skin care.
We were unsure of what to expect but were pleasantly surprised! The service at the hotel was excellent! We were welcomed with a glass of sparkling wine and were taken to our double seaview room. The room was clean and felt like a 4 star hotel. The views from the hotel were gorgeous! It was a busy period but there was always a sunlounger available, the floating ones around the pool were often reserved. The staff were great! They were always asking if they could get us a drink, I dont think we got up once for a drink, they were always brought to us! On one of the days we wanted to visit the shipwreck but we didn't want to a hire a car, the staff at the main reception did everything they could to help with this which we were very grateful for. The entertainment in the evening consisted of live bands and also roulette, there were also fireworks. The team make a real effort and everyone appeared to get on with one another, it was lovely!
The experience was superb! Felt fully relaxed throughout the massage. The staff were so welcoming, polite and caring throughout the experience! I would recommend this spa to anyone!
Just a lovely holiday from start to end.
Room - we were in 905. Partial sea view - was lovely, a lovely view of the sea with a large balcony and mini fridge topped up daily. I think 800s and 900s are the slightly newer block and therefore can’t speak on the rest of the rooms but it was massive! Massive bed, rainfall shower and just all in all lovely room.
Food - breakfast great and usual stuff (omelette cooked for you, plenty of choice for all tastes etc). Lunch - we tended to go to the snack bar which was a sit down menu which had plenty of choice for all tastes! Plus was outside by the pool so suited us well. Dinner - make sure to book the culinarium when you get there. A lovely evening that switched things up. Buffet evening food is slightly repetitive but nice and we ate in every night to make the most of the all inclusive. There was always something for all tastes.
Drinks - fantastic. Always made fresh, whether that was cocktails, milkshakes, ice coffees etc. very tasty and served in nice proper glasses! (Baby Guinness is included if you fancy a cheeky shot!)
Facilities - we only used the pool, bars and restaurant but all were well maintained, looked after and felt fresh. The pool was great and there was no silly rush for sunbeds in the morning, you could wander down at 10 and still get some. Plenty of space between each of you too. We didn’t spend anytime on the beach but lots of beds there too. Would definitely recommend taking a snorkel as there was lots to see plus we were luckily enough to encounter a turtle when we were snorkellingone afternoon!!!!!!!
Staff - the staff make this place, there is nothing too big or too small to ask and they’ll sort it out. Drinks are table service and sunbed service so you don’t even need to leave your seat for a drink! They are funny, kind and always ask you about your day. The staff carry this place and are a credit to the hotel!
Overall - thoroughly enjoyed our week of relaxation. Evening entertainment was hit and miss but depends on your taste! We don’t mind the chill vibes so suited us well. We had a truly relaxing week and I’m glad we chose the caravel. Would highly recommend.
We had a wonderful week. Highlights were the stunning setting, a real wow factor when you walk into the lobby seeing the infinity pool and then onwards to the crystal clear sea. We pre selected our swim up room which when we checked in we were given a different room which was no problem and in fact we preferred. Was in the main building block 4 where reception, the lobby bar and main buffet restaurant was, we experienced no noise disturbance at all and our room 412 was perfectly placed, sun until around 3pm. We hardly used the swim up or the terrace as there were always loads of sun loungers free and we preferred to be on the beach, it was nice to have a lovely view though. The service is another highlight, whether you’re on the beach, at the bar or during mealtimes, service was always very prompt and done so with a smile. Special mention to Adrian serving on the beach, such a lovely young man and worked so hard in very hot weather. The food we felt overall would be massively improved with the addition of a 3rd restaurant. The à la carte we found a bit too fussy and actually maybe a nice Greek themed restaurant and a steak or other cuisine would work really well along side the buffet. The food in the buffet was fine but nothing particularly outstanding. Lunch at the snack bar was always very good. We found a bar completely unused in building 8 I think it was next to the table tennis, it’s crying out to be made into another restaurant with a nice terrace area. The biggest let down was the entertainment, I would have preferred no entertainment to what was on offer. It was poor across the board, so dated and was hard to watch or get involved. Seeing zero people dancing should tell you something. The location is great as right out of the hotel is a big long strip of bars and restaurants, we went out a couple of evenings just to mix it up and played mini golf which was great. Overall would return if they fix the entertainment and can sort a 3rd restaurant.
