Great Hotel people very helpful evening Bar person excellent Alan helpful and Julian. Walking distance to visit the town easy excise. Entertainment ok. Food excellent Rooms lovely. Value what I paid .good Value. Town restaurant are great we went couple of times. Boat trips book in town is easier.
I stayed here with my 16yo son last month (July 2026). It's a pleasant place, no doubt at it. Smaller than it appears from the outside which is no bad thing. Food was standard buffet fayre, nothing outstanding nor anything to be overly critical over. Staff were lovely and it's obviously well managed and spotlessly clean as soon as you enter. Strangely it's split across a little access road which means if you had young children you'd have to ensure they weren't running between the two pools etc or to rooms (depending where you're situated). It's a little way out of Tsivili, but not a bad walk down the hill though as usual in Greece there's missing pavements so wits need to be had at all times traversing the sides of the road there there is one.
Entertainment wasn't anything to write home about that's for sure but didn't bother us as we went out most nights.
We have just returned from 10 days at the Filoxenia, went with an open mind wondering how far out of town it was and whether our fussy teenagers would find anything to eat. Needn’t have worried - we enjoyed the walk into Tsilivi and on lazy days we took advantage of the free bus. The food was delicious - especially the desserts! The hotel is spotlessly clean - the restaurant team are brilliant as are the housekeeping staff. Our room was newly refurbished and spacious. No sun bed wars and friendly bar staff contributed to a relaxing stay. Entertainment is minimal - which was perfect for us! We enjoyed the quiz one afternoon and the pool competition was a lot of fun. If you’re after a quiet break with amazing desserts and don’t mind a walk it’s fantastic. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.
Absolutely loved this little gem of a hotel.
We had an issue when we checked in (no fault of the hotel) and the reception staff could not have been more helpful to find a resolution as well as promptly providing back up emails to help.
All staff we have seen on our trip have been warm and friendly and full of smiles.
Food is great - fresh, good selections and lots of salads and fruit. Snacks in the afternoon and cake are an added bonus!
While there are no cocktails on offer, we found this made sure there were hardly ever queues at the bar although you can buy cocktails if you want to. The all inclusive bar shuts at 11 but this seemed to be when everyone drifted off anyway so didn’t feel we missed out. Tsilivi is also close enough if you want to carry on drinking.
The evening entertainment was also great - loved Carrie and the Greek dancers.
The hotel grounds, rooms and pools are clean and tidy and the towels changed daily. We had no issues with the shower getting the bathroom floor wet as mentioned in earlier reviews despite also having one of the renovated rooms. I do agree that a full length mirror would be beneficial.
Plenty of storage space, fridge and tvs in both bedrooms.
While it is on a busy road, the noise didn’t bother us. The walk into the centre is about 15 minutes and flat, and less than 100 metres of this does not have pavement but at no point did we feel unsafe walking. The beach is another 15 minute walk from the centre - the hotel does a shuttle 3 times a day but we found the walk pleasant and not taxing.
We’ve really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend.
Hotel is very clean and staff are very nice, we were a family of 6 staying in 2 separate rooms, no double bed in either room, no big mirror in the rooms, travel cot wasnt available on the first night so we had to wait until the morning after and was charged €5 per night, the corners of the beds are dangerous everyone in our group cut their legs at some point, lift was broken twice in the 11 days we were there, daytime entertainment 3 times per week which is good for adults but there is nothing for children, singer once a week on an evening, there was supposed to be a rock singer on at some point but they cancelled, there was a greek dancing night but we missed that because it wasnt advertised in the hotel, the entertainment on an evening is right next to the bar and pool we had a toddler with us who just kept trying to run into the pool, in my opinion entertainment should be on the grass at the other side of the hotel as its further away from the pool and theres much more seating available there, food was nice even my fussy eater found something to eat every day, I dont think i would stay here again though
