Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.

The hotel was as good as it could be within the restrictions of the site. Many balconies looked at each other and a blank very high wall. The area was a bit scruffy. However the accommodation, food, facilities and staff were all very good.
Hotel is situated in a good area for amenities and a 10 min walk into Sliema. Rooms large, comfy large bed. The most disappointing thing was the sound proofing. The re is open concrete on the roof of the room so you can hear people walking and it sounds like they are in the room with you. If they dropped something, we thought someone was in our room and we didn’t sleep well at all because of it. We mentioned it to reception but were told all rooms were the same. Staff really pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was good, enough choice. Pool area is fine, we only used it once. The beds are very close together and the drinks are really expensive compared to outside the hotel which is a shame. All in all, a good hotel, value for money is fine, but we wouldn’t stay again due to the noise in the room.
Stayed at the Grand Suites for one week. Lovely hotel, rooms are spacious, clean and tidy. Breakfast is good with a range of cooked items and the option of continental. Staff are pleasant. Spa area is lovely, only downside was it could do with a bit of a clean. The location of the hotel is a short walk from the promenade where there are plenty of shops and restaurants. Overall fab trip and would definitely recommend staying at the Grand Suites.
Stayed here for 4 nights last week with another couple, our studio room was quite large with a Kitchenette, large bathroom (Excellent shower) , large room and a balcony,(view from balcony on 2nd floor not great). Towels changed every day and bed made. Roof top pool with great views of Valletta especially as evening rolls in, nice bar for a drink , gym and pool in basement, this hotel satisfied all our requirements. Good location very exploring Silema and a little coffee shop on front, all in all an excellent choice for a stay in Silema.
Stayed here for 2 days towards the end of September. 3 of us shared a 2 bed room and they accommodated twin beds in 1 of the rooms for us. The room also had a hob, sink, kettle, microwave/oven. Complimentary water, tea and coffee plus milk/sugar. Shampoo and shower gel. Plenty of towels. Balcony and plenty of chairs. You can use the roof pool and sunbeds plus hot tub and also the gym and indoor pool, sauna and steam room. The staff were pleasant, helpful and courteous. We never had a problem getting a sunbed on the roof. The pool is infinity and while some found it cold, we thought it was very nice. We had spa treatments too and they were excellent. We ate lunches on the roof and the pole bowls were very generous portions and delicious.
The hotel is a short walk to the harbour and 20 minutes walk to the ferry which crosses to Valletta which is 5€ return and runs every half hour.
Overall, if ever in Malta again I would book here.
