Fantastic stay, amazing location/views
Fantastic experience, from check in through to departure…faultless. The staff were super helpful, the location perfect for a long weekend break - the breakfast amazing, and the views…wow 100% worth the upgrade to deluxe/grand Sea View room…stunning views out over Valetta. Roof top pool…lovely but dont expect a sun lounger and you’re unlikely to be disappointed - only counted 14, but hey, plenty more to be seeing/doing during the daytime.
Perfect romantic hotel experience in Malta
We had booked 'Deluxe Grand Seaview King' (ours was at the 5th floor) for a week and it was exactly as advertized - with a balcony and a gorgeous view over Valletta and the harbour. The room and its ajacent space (bathroom, corridor, suitcase space) was large and very well organized.
Perfect location for exploring Malta - on 100 m to the bus stop, with excelent connections to Valletta (where you would be in 15-20 min), to the airport and further on to the rest of the island. Just 6-8 min from the ferries to Gozo and Valletta.
The service is very polite and professional, the small rooftop swiming pool aslo offered very good and gorgeous experience.
We would offer only two minor recommendations:
- The rooms go with empty small refrigerators, which are very convenient, but the fridges are very weak and do not fridge enouph (the white wine or prosecco, for example, to enjoy on the balcony).
- The breakfast is standard to averidge and not as exceptional as the hotel is. During those 7 days the menu was practically the same. The English tea was OK, but the coffee didn't met our expectations. Therefore, one could skip the breakfast option from the reservation.

Lovely hotel
Good location for bars restaurants and ferry to Valletta. €5 return, takes five minutes. Locally area is a bit scruffy, Valletta was lovely. Hotel, was very nice, modern friendly staff. Rooms were very modern and spacious. Pool area was compacted, quiet b4 midday, then slightly busier. Always got a lounger. Good value. Gym was small, few machines not working, so had a run in the morning sun, on the promenade. Eat out for breakfast, although the restaurant looked nice. A good distance away from Partyville, although average age was 21 ish, mainly young girls just chilling. Plenty of couples.

Fantastic stay in a fantastic hotel
We had a fantastic nine night stay at the Verdi Gzira Promenade. The hotel is in an excellent location looking out over the harbour, close to bars, restaurants and shops, and a short walk to the boats over to Valletta.
The hotel was very clean and well maintained, and the rooms spacious, attractive, and quiet, especially considering the lively location.
The breakfast was excellent with a good range of options and certain items could be requested. The food was delicious and hot, and the restaurant had a nice atmosphere with very attentive staff.
What really made the stay special was the staff. From the moment we arrived Christian and Shiva were very friendly and made us feel so welcome. They couldn't do enough for us, from restaurants recommendations and bus times, to making reservations and booking excursions. They really were exceptional.
