Excellent hotel.
Lovely location really close to a fantastic beach, great atmosphere and the food is to die for! All inclusive buffet has so much choice fantastic for the kids, they usually get a bit bored towards the end of the holiday but there’s a restaurant that offers a menu that you can book if you’re after a bit more of a dining experience as well.
The rooms are clean the staff are very friendly and kind there was a couple of teething problems with the room but they were sorted very quickly.
The kids had an absolute blast this hotel is great if you have young kids but also for the adult to have some calm time they have the kids club and adult areas to go to.
The 2 single beds are comfy enough especially for the kids however the queen size bed is so comfortable to sleep on probably the most comfy bed I’ve stayed on abroad.
Overall very impressive and would definitely come back again to visit.
There’s so much to do here in Malta and easy to explore as the island is so small lots of cabs around I don’t think we waited more than 5 mins for one.
The spa is lovely and was very quiet and clean.
Great inside kids area too.

Everything was going fine until night 3
Location: really far from the airport but quiet area. Depending what you're looking for it might be the right fit.
Service: 5/5 staff is very lovely, attentive, friendly and helpful.
Food: currently in bed, third night in and I can't sleep as I seem to have diarrhea. I'm pregnant in my third trimester and seriously worried about this. Planning to report it to reception, first thing in the morning.
My husband and mother-in-law experienced mild stomach aches and diarrhea on day 2. I brushed it off thinking their stomachs might be a bit sensitive to all the mix they've recently consumed but I'm now convinced it's the hotel food as I'm quite selective with what I add to my plate and generally have a strong stomach. My toddler on day 2 also had a big wet, poo which now that I think of it, might have been diarrhea too. I also brushed this off thinking it might be due to the travel? My toddler has just been eating simple foods like pasta for lunch/dinner and beans for breakfast.
We booked a week of all inclusive and I'm now highly concerned for the whole family. Especially my unborn child and the remainder that haven't communicated any stomach issues yet.
Drinks: don't bother with the juice machines, everything is extremely watered down. The ice creams so far literally taste industrialised.
Restaurants booking: non-existent. As soon as we checked-in at 3pm, none of the restaurants that needed reservation were available for booking for the whole stay. We booked to stay here for a week.

Relaxing and Enjoyable
Once again a very good easy holiday enjoying all that the Seabank has to offer. All the staff in all departments were very helpful and approachable. Looking forward to going back for another relaxing holiday in May.

Let’s start with the good points. The room was of a good size with plenty of storage for clothes. It was kept clean throughout the holiday except for the balcony. We had a heavy rainstorm during the visit which left the balcony very dirty. We waited 3 days for it to be cleaned before complaining at reception. It was cleaned the following day. Food/Drink A big part on any holiday for me is having good quality food and nice drinks. Unfortunately, these were not available at this hotel. The food was bland and served in a school cafeteria environment. How can a Mediterranean hotel serve fish/tomatoes/cucumbers which are worse than a UK supermarkets? They advertise numerous different restaurants within the hotel itself. We booked the Levante (middle eastern food) and the Salia (Mediterranean food). It was very surprising to have the same menu at both restaurants, the 2nd of which served me the worst steak I have ever had. I do like to digest meat, not just suck it for a few minutes before putting it back on the plate. In the end we started eating out which just added cost to the holiday but at least we enjoyed the food. Environment Overall, the hotel was clean. The swimming pools were of a reasonable standard and had plenty of sunbeds available. If you like loud music while sunbathing this would be a good location for you. My only complaint with the room was the bathroom. It was very dated with cracked floor tiles. Worst of all, every time you flushed the toilet water came out of the button which was very strange. If you do choose to stay at this hotel it also gives you a Titanic experience free of charge. All you need is some rainy weather and you can experience leaky ceilings in the sports bar as well as the corridors outside the bedrooms. This is then followed by the musty smell experience for the next few days. Finally, the wildlife. It was very disappointing to encounter a rat running around the sports bar. This must bring in to question the overall hygiene standard of this hotel. Entertainment This was mainly aimed at children. They had a kids disco until 21.15 then a 45 minute stage show which was nothing special. Good luck finding any entertainment after 22.00. In conclusion, if you want an expensive, 3rd rate Butlins experience with 4th rate food, drink and entertainment this could be for you. If not, and you want to stay in Mellieha, I suggest you book a hotel in the town and get a bus down to the beach.
