Enjoyed a lovely stay here Pool area had plenty of sun-beds and we enjoyed the adult swim up bar The food in the main buffet was good and we tried most of the themed restaurants which were also lovely Our room with a sea view was lovely and the cleaner Nikita kept our rooms spotless Would also like to mention Bibash from the bar who was lovely to have a chat to and very helpful
Excellent location, very family oriented. Food was fantastic great choices. Rooms were very nice and I stayed inland facing the pool which was brilliant. Found Michael very helpful on my last day. Very chatty we should all have a Michael in our life’s!! Hopefully back again in May 2027 - first time in Malta but it won’t be my last !!
the location of of the hotel is really good it’s a 2 min bus ride up to town the atmosphere by the staff and people inside the hotel is brilliant the rooms are kept clean everyday and the value for the family Rooms are so worth it brilliant hotel would definitely recommend
We chose the hotel as a place to relax after several days of sight seeing based in Valletta.
The staff were all very friendly and helpful and Joseph on reception was particularly so and gave us a very good first impression of the hotel.
Our rooms were large, very clean and had all the facilities you would expect from this standard of hotel (including lots of coat hangers which we rarely find in hotels!). We particularly liked that we had a water jug to fill from the water dispenser so we had cold water in the room whenever we wanted it.
We had no problem using the token system for the pool bar. At busy times the queue was managed and we had no issues with exchanging our cups for tokens when we had finished. It was noticeable that the pool area was not littered with abandoned cups - so it would seem to encourage guests to tidy up after themselves too!
The main buffet restaurant could feel a little chaotic, but we either sat outside or in the adults only section and these were much calmer. We thought the selection and quality of food was good - certainly better than some similar hotels we have stayed in. We particularly enjoyed the Sunday lunch which was a more lavish spread as it was also open to the public. We also liked the self service drinks which mean that you are not trying to attract the attention of a waiter.
We ate in two of the speciality restaurants and enjoyed them both. The Middle Eastern food was lovely, although the restaurant itself was quiet so perhaps lacked a little atmosphere. The barbecue restaurant was excellent - a lovely setting and tasty food. Our only disappointment was the Brazilian restaurant which felt very much like a canteen and we chose not to stay - but that was our personal preference.
In all the restaurants, one of the chef’s would provide a guided tour of the buffet to point out food that was gluten free and there was a good selection to choose from at every meal. My sister, who is very sensitive to even traces of gluten, remained well throughout the whole of our stay.
We had no difficulty in finding sun beds when we wanted them - they were comfortable and in the shade which suited us perfectly.
This is a busy, family hotel, but we were also able to find quiet corners when we wanted them and the hotel did enforce its adult only sections.
Overall, we were very happy with our stay and would return to the hotel.
Abuz Hossain was our most excellent room attendant, he looked after us so well 🙂. We were very surprised and happy to stay in room 5218, the extra bedroom and balcony for the 2 of us was brilliant. The 7 restaurants are very nice, but was a bit complicated to book. The hotel needs to have things on a leaflet for new guests to make it all simpler, including a map of the hotel. We have never been on an all inclusive holiday so it was very confusing. We gave up on breakfast as it was just totally repetitive. We were very disappointed that we had to leave our room by 11am on the last day even though our flight is 9.30pm, we arrived at midnight the week before so only had our room for 6 days 😕! The pool area is lovely, but there are hundreds of wasps. We tended to stick to our balcony or the beach. There are lots of lovely long walks in Mellieha, and we had plenty trips around Malta.
