Best Western Premier Malta

Fantastic hotel, over the years we have stayed in many hotels in Malta and this is by far the best hotel yet! It was lovely and clean, very modern, the restaurant was spotless, the whole hotel was very well maintained, and the staff were all friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again and I would definitely recommend it.

We organised airport transfers through the hotel, but unfortunately the transfer arranged for our arrival never showed up. We waited for over an hour before contacting the hotel, who then arranged for us to use a taxi from the airport taxi service instead. For our return journey, the hotel-arranged taxi did arrive on time, however the vehicle was very small and struggled to fit our two suitcases. Based on our experience, I would arrange my own airport transfers in future, as this part of the service felt unreliable and poorly organised.

The location was perfect. There were bus stops everywhere, literally a two-minute walk away, making it incredibly easy to get around the island. Shops, restaurants, beaches, and other amenities were all within walking distance, which was a huge plus.

Aside from the transfer issue, the reception team were very helpful throughout our stay. Our room was lovely, clean, and well maintained, and whenever housekeeping was needed, they always did an amazing job.

I found the food and drink prices quite expensive compared to other places on the island, so we often preferred buying our own drinks. The staff at the rooftop pool bar were quite rude, and I wasn’t impressed with their tone or attitude towards customers. In contrast, the staff in the downstairs lounge bar were friendly, welcoming, and very helpful.

The atmosphere around the pool and throughout the hotel during the day was calm and relaxing. Unfortunately, during our last two nights we had very loud neighbours who were shouting and partying between 11pm and 4am, which affected our sleep.

Overall, I would stay here again because of the fantastic location, cleanliness, and helpful reception staff. The only reason I have reduced my rating is because of the airport transfer experience. Everything else about our stay was very enjoyable.

This is a superb hotel located near the heart of Buggibba Malta . Our room (500) was beautiful and well appointed with premium bath accessories robes , slippers and a free mini bar stocked up with tea/coffee in a daily basis . It had a double sized shower and a huge bed , downstairs the bar was eloquent with great cocktails and delicious food served in the restaurant and in the rooftop bar/pool , special mention to Ram who ran a tight ship all day and night. Everyone was professional and polite , it truly was a joy to stay here and we highly recommend it . We visited a few hotels nearby and none of them came close to the Best Western, i totally understand why they are trip advisor winners each and every year .
