The perfect hotel for a relaxing weekend
We had a truly wonderful weekend at the Verdala Hotel. The hotel is beautifully designed, with an exceptional ambience that makes it the perfect spot for a weekend retreat.
It’s the ideal place to slow down, relax, unwind, catch up on sleep, enjoy good food, and simply reconnect with nature. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, making it easy to switch off and enjoy the surroundings.
Breakfast was particularly lovely, with a great selection of healthy, fresh, and delicious options. We also had the chance to dine at the restaurant, which was a really enjoyable experience, with great food and a lovely setting.
Overall, it was exactly the kind of relaxing weekend we needed, and we left feeling refreshed and recharged. A beautiful place for a peaceful getaway!

The most beautiful hotel in Malta!
The most beautiful hotel in Malta! From the moment we stepped in we were welcomed with warmth and hospitality by the lovely Manager, Julian, who was very helpful and attentive throughout our stay. The other notable staff were the lovely Joy in the Griffin restaurant at breakfast as well as Ahmed. In fact the Griffin Brasserie was so delicious that we went there three times for dinner during our stay. All of the wait staff were wonderful, attentive and helpful. The housekeeping staff was exceptional. Our suite was amazing! Glamour but with an understated and relaxed elegance to maximize our comfort. The suite was spacious, but the highlight was our private terrace with sweeping views over the valley! The terrace was as big as the indoor space and was a welcome private retreat after a days sightseeing. Those loungers were so comfy! The hotel is small and intimate and feels like a home away from home. Rabat is fantastic, and it’s doable to walk to Rabat and Mdina from the hotel, both for daytime sightseeing and nighttime meals. A very residential and non-touristy vibe was what we were after, and this was exactly what we were treated to. And I love how healthy everything was without sacrificing flavour. I really felt the best I have felt in a long time! Highly recommended!

Excellent hotel! Can’t really fault it. Great rooms and facilities, all the staff are friendly, helpful and efficient with a particular shout out for Dilip Kumar who made are stay very special. 10/10.

Excellent hotel in Rabat, an oasis of peace, tranquility and comfort.
Excellent hotel in Rabat, an oasis of peace, tranquility and comfort. Great location to explore all that Rabat, Mdina, and the island of Malta has to offer. Room (comfort room) was very comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was plentiful with a fresh, healthy selection. Lunch was equally as good. The terrace and infinity pool offer beautiful views down to Valletta and the coast with a great variety and selection of loungers/seating to choose from. You must find time to visit the Spa, you’ll not be disappointed. I’d recommend dinner in the Griffin Brasserie, we enjoyed the Wild Sea Bass (to share), Ribeye Steak and Tortelloni. Don’t miss out on desert with the selection brought to the table on a desert cart. Service throughout the hotel is excellent, all staff welcoming and happy to help/advise you to ensure you get the most out of your stay.
