Verdala Wellness Hotel AX Privilege - Adults Only

What a great way to end a vacation at the Verdala Wellness Hotel! Beautifully designed rooms that were luxurious and spacious, a warm pool with a view, and access to the steam room, sauna, hydrotherapy dip pools, indoor pool and outdoor jacuzzi. Customer service was top notch at the front desk, bar and pool. Only a 10 minute uber ride away from the Mdina Gate and restaurants. Would definitely recommend this hotel.

There are hotels that provide luxury, and then there are places that create an experience. Our stay at Verdala Wellness Hotel by AX Privilege was undoubtedly the latter.

From the moment we arrived, everything felt carefully considered — the atmosphere, the surroundings, the facilities and, most importantly, the level of service. This is a place where luxury and relaxation are truly on another level.

One of the things that makes Verdala particularly special is its setting. The breathtaking views from the pool area are simply spectacular, but the view from The Nook – Residents Lounge is something else entirely. Sitting there and looking across Malta, with the island seemingly spread out beneath you, is a genuinely memorable experience. It is the perfect place to slow down, enjoy a drink and simply take in the scenery.

However, what really sets Verdala apart is its people. A special mention must go to Raja and Nish from Concierge. Their professionalism, attentiveness and genuinely pleasant personalities made every interaction a pleasure. They were always welcoming, helpful and approachable, which is exactly what you hope for from a luxury property.

Samwel from The Living Room Lounge Bar also deserves special recognition. His professionalism, excellent service and warm personality made our time at the lounge particularly enjoyable. We would also like to thank the entire team at The Griffin Brasserie and The Ridge Pool Bar. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly, attentive and professional. The consistency of the service across the different areas of the hotel was impressive.

The Wellness experience was another highlight of our stay, and a special thank you goes to Kelly Jane and Shirly. Both were exceptionally professional, welcoming and genuinely committed to making the experience as relaxing and enjoyable as possible. Please do not forget to book a massage, worth every penny!

I would also like to mention Julian, who I believe is the hotel manager. His presence and the professionalism of the team around him are a reflection of the standards being maintained throughout the property. It is clear that there is a strong emphasis on both service and the overall guest experience. What impressed us most was that the hospitality never felt artificial or overly formal. There was a genuine warmth and friendliness from the staff that made us feel like celebrities rather than simply customers.

Verdala successfully brings together luxury, wellness, exceptional facilities, breathtaking views and, above all, genuine hospitality. And while the surroundings and facilities are undoubtedly impressive, it is the people who ultimately make a stay memorable.

We left feeling completely relaxed, thoroughly looked after and genuinely sad to leave.
