The George, Urban Boutique Hotel, enjoys a great situation in the heart of the most popular entertainment and leisure area of Malta. It is within a short stroll from the sandy beach at St. George's Bay as well as from the trendy Spinola Bay and picturesque St. Julian's Bay. Valletta, the capital of Malta with its attractions such as the Palace of the Grand Master, is about 6 km away, while the international airport is about 8 km away. Guests are welcomed in a refined environment exuding an air of peace and tranquillity. The stylish design hotel offers spacious and ultra-modern guest rooms, featuring 40” LCD HDTV and WIFI access. The hotel offers a rooftop terrace with outdoor pool and sweeping views over the Mediterranean Sea. Guests can indulge in total relaxation in the spa and wellness area with sauna and indoor pool. There is also an exquisite Italian restaurant. A stylish place to spend one's holidays in Malta.
Booked mostly because stated family friendly hotel and that it is a boutique 4 star. Not a family friendly hotel. Perfect for 18 year olds and up who want to party but not for families. Way too noisy throughout the night once the party comers return back to hotel this can be from 2am to 5am... Hotel based in party Central of St Julians. No resturant in hotel no bar area in hotel, bar roof top pool which closes early evening. So leaves you that you have to leave hotel to get a drink or if you return home early when the party goers have left you can only go to your room. Doesn't have the feel of a 4 star hotel bar the reception area. Rooms are spacious.
Nice hotel, clean, spacious room, great breakfast and lovely staff who were all very helpful. Now for the down side - if you’re a family think twice about staying in St Julians it’s very lively and attracts large numbers of young adults and teenagers who are drinking in the bars, clubs and streets to 4:00 to 05:00 in the morning so you can imagine the noise in the streets outside the hotel. The place is like a building site - construction going on everywhere with dirty unkept streets. The hotel was full of young people who were mostly lovely and respectful but you always have the rowdy one’s as well. A couple of rooms up from ours was s group of young lads and girls who played loud hard core music from their balcony which we complained about several times, it wasn’t until our fourth day that the staff managed to put a stop to it but by this stage between noise during the day by the music and the street noise we were ready to walk out so be aware what you are booking if you book this hotel or any other in this area. I would go back to Malta again tomorrow but would stay no where near St Julians. If your looking somewhere a bit quieter but still close enough to the night life Sliema is perfect and still within walking distance,
Our flight was cancelled, and the airline booked this hotel for us for one night. We were pleasantly surprised by the experience.
The hotel is located in the heart of Paceville, surrounded by plenty of bars, clubs, and restaurants, making it a great choice if you want to enjoy the area's nightlife.
The hotel was very clean, the staff were welcoming and helpful, and the room was spacious, modern, and very comfortable. We honestly didn't expect such a high standard from an airline-arranged hotel, but it exceeded our expectations.
Overall, it was a very pleasant stay, and I would happily recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Paceville.
Great hotel the reception staff were lovely and go above and beyond. The room was very clean and spacious. Good location
Just got back from this hotel , it’s a nice hotel spacious rooms for family of four , breakfast was nice and plentiful , downstairs spa and pool is nice but there are a few things that could be improved first off we booked boat trip to blue lagoon through reception along with two other groups , waited for our pick up for an hour ended up all going back to the hotel to find out we had been told the wrong place to wait so lost the trip as the boat had gone , secondly the decking area around top pool has screws sticking out and is easy to cut your feet which I did , the spa pool downstairs has rotten floorboards so easily catch your foot down them and very sharp edges in the pool which we saw a young lad cut his head on and ended up being stitched up at hospital , also the service and standard for food in roof top bar just don’t bother go out , ordered a cheese toasty waited over an hour for it and arrived just thrown in the plate where as others had crisps etc included with their sandwich staff didn’t seem that bothered that we had to wait so long for the food , lastly the noise it starts at 7am and is both sides of the hotel constant digging and drilling , headed to the beach for some peace and quiet but no they are building g a massive hotel on the beach and the noise is constant kinda ruined it in the end as no peace , the area is a bit of a mess rubbish bags everywhere partygoers up until 4am , there is a shot bar at back of hotel and it is loud with drunk people , we did have a good holiday you make it what it is , would I return to the area or hotel well it’s a no from me
