Perfect base in Valletta
From the initial check-in, the staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. We came here for our mini-moon and were so pleasantly surprised to find our room beautifully decorated, complete with complimentary bubbly — such a lovely touch! 🥂
The hotel is small, boutique and absolutely stunning. We loved the rooftop and pool area, which was a real treat in the boiling sunshine and the perfect place to relax.
Breakfast was exceptional. There was a great continental selection, but you could also order a cooked breakfast, including omelettes and other options, which you don’t always find at hotels. Everything was delicious!
The only thing we would mention is the location. The hotel is situated on a very steep hill, and the stone pavements can be extremely slippery, so it may not be the easiest location for anyone with mobility issues.
Overall, we absolutely loved our stay and would definitely recommend this beautiful boutique hotel. Thank you for making our mini-moon so special! ❤️
Overall a great home base to make in touring Malta
We checked in very early in July for 5 nights and reception is accommodating. Room was clean and comfortably air conditioned. We liked its location, a step away from the bustling tourists yet everything was close enough, even to Gozo ferry or bus station. Though it wasn’t cheap, we believed we got good value, the rooftop pool and breakfast was great.

Excellent
We spent 4 nights at the hotel. Our room had a terrace with two chairs and a table. The room itself was of a good size with plenty of storage place for clothes. The bathroom was also of a decent size and stocked with plenty of shower gel, liquid hand soap and shampoo. Robes and slippers are also provided which was a nice touch as is tea and coffee making facilities which is unusual for a city hotel. The breakfast was plentiful with a good choice of cereals, pastries etc., also included in the price was a choice of one hot dish - full english breakfast, scrambled eggs on toast etc.
The rooftop pool and bar was an added bonus and was much needed after a day of sightseeing in temperatures of more than 35c! The bar was well stocked with a good choice of drinks, beers and snacks.
The hotel is in two separate buildings in a quiet street only about a 10 minute walk from the centre of Valletta where there are plenty of restaurants and bars.
All of the staff provide excellent service and cannot do enough for guests. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend. We are already thinking of visiting again next year.

What a great hotel. It's in a very quiet street in Valletta a few minutes from the city's main streets. So clean and comfortable, air con works a treat and there's a rooftop pool and bar to relax around. Our room was very comfortable, spotlessly clean. Breakfast was plentiful, hot and therecwas a huge choice. We can't speak highly enough of the hotel and hope to go back again next year. Will highly recommend. Thank you to all the staff from the duty manager, restaurant and reception. Super stay

Perfect stay in the heart of Valleta.
We had an amazing stay at the palais le brun as a family of 4. The hotel had a great location right in the centre of Valleta. The room was big and easily fitted us all in comfortably ( family of 2 adults, 2 girls and 2 large floats). Climate control was excellent and the shower and bath were high quality. The room was just the thing to unwind and relax after a hot day of exploring. Breakfast was great with a good range of options. My daughter had a peanut allergy which was catered to well. Staff were polite and got to know us well over the last 4 days. They spoke excellent English and went out of the way to make us feel at home. The rooftop had a lounge , bar and small pool with excellent views. The hotel was really well done up with small spaces and really old pictures and books. It is also located close to all the restaurants, sights, ferries and supermarket. It is really near st Elmo fort. Highly recommended.
