Great stay at the Barrister Hotel in Valletta!
We spent 5 nights at the ‘The Barrister Hotel’. It is a new, well appointed boutique hotel, with a legal theme based on the building’s history, occupied by lawyers in the past. It is in the heart of Valletta with walking distance to attractions, restaurants, bars while exploring the many beautiful alleys. The room was spotless, quiet with a very comfortable bed, a great bathroom and a/c. The continental breakfast was good and all the reception staff were friendly and helpful, especially Olena. Marc, the owner/manager was also present at the ‘Guilty’ breakfast room daily also providing a unique insight into Valletta’s history and evolution. Overall a very enjoyable stay. Would highly recommend staying in Valletta and this hotel while exploring Malta. Nick & Pam.
Exceptional Hospitality in the Heart of Valletta ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
We had a wonderful four-night stay at the Barrister Hotel in the heart of Valletta. Beautifully restored, the hotel offers spacious, spotless rooms with very comfortable beds.
What truly sets the Barrister apart is its exceptional staff, who make you feel like family. We had to change rooms due to personal circumstances, and the team was incredibly responsive and accommodating despite it being a busy period. A special thank you to Olena, who treated us with kindness, respect, and genuine care.
The owner, Mark, is a welcoming presence at breakfast and is always happy to share his knowledge of Valletta and its history.
We wouldn’t hesitate to stay at the Barrister Hotel again on our next visit to Valletta. Thank you to Mark, Olena, and the entire team for making our stay so memorable.

This is fabulous hotel in the heart of Valletta
This is our third stay at this beautiful hotel. It has a very relaxed vibe and is perfectly situated in Valletta for sight seeing and restaurants. The rooms are spotless and the domestic services are brilliant. They cater for all Your needs even down to a toothbrush and toothpaste The fridge has drinks and snacks and a lovely bottle Of fizz The hotel is situated on Strait street and the noise levels are very high at night but the hotel provide ear plugs and those has never been a problem I would highly recommend for short or longer stay. Breakfast is Lovely and continental Nothing is too much of a problem for the staff
Wonderful Staff
Alena was AMAZING with getting us sorted. We had an AirBnB issue and Alena was very quick to sort us out with 2 rooms on no notice, was incredibly kind and helpful, beautiful staff experience and really appreciated!
Amazing place to stay
Our stay was amazing. The hotel was in a great location only couple minutes walk from center. The staff, Olena and Mark, were so lovely and made our stay very enjoyable. Would highly recommend
