ln the picturesque village of Olhos de Água (Albufeira), a traditional fishing village that perfectly combines calm and tradition with all the needed comfort and facilities, you will find the perfect place for an amazing carefree holiday on an All Inclusive basis. Explored until 2021 by another hotel group, it reopened in April 2022 under the 3HB Hotels brand – now as 3HB Guaraná! Surrounded by some of the most beautiful beaches of the Algarve, it will be difficult to choose between a day at the beach, in one of the two outdoor pools or in the heated indoor pool. There is also a children's pool exclusively for the little ones of the family! A varied gastronomic offer with 3 different restaurants, pool bar, swim-up bar, lounge bar and snacks will delight everyone. But as All Inclusive also means lots of fun, services and activities, we also have to highlight the complete entertainment programme, SPA, gym, multipurpose court, kids club and playground, Disco-bar and free Wi-fi in the rooms and common areas.

Exccelent experience if you have kids it is perfect for you really kind staff they make the place so fun there is a entertainment team who entertain kids and adults to make sure you have mkre fun they have a kids club five pools 4 are outsid two are baby pools and indoor poll and jacuzzi 5 stars

This was our first time staying here, and we will definitely be coming back. I read the reviews very carefully before booking and also followed the hotel’s Facebook page, so I had pretty high expectations — and honestly, there wasn’t a single thing we could fault!
The hotel really does have something for everyone. Everything is kept incredibly clean and tidy, and all the staff we came across were friendly, helpful and welcoming.
The activities and entertainment are fantastic, with so many little extras that really make the holiday special. From carnival nights for the children to pool parties, there is always something going on. The list of activities seems endless, and there’s plenty to keep both adults and children entertained.
Food 🍽️
The main buffet was busy, which is to be expected in August, but the food was to a very high standard with lots of choice. There was also plenty of seating outside.
You can also visit the two themed restaurants during your stay. These are also buffet-style but offer something a little different from the main restaurant, which was a lovely option.
Drinks 🍹
There is a fantastic selection of branded drinks and an extensive cocktail menu. I noticed a few comments about the cocktails coming from machines, but personally I thought this was a great idea. The branded spirits are connected to the machines so that precise measures are dispensed into the glass, which I imagine helps reduce waste and allows the staff to serve people quickly, especially around the pool bar.
And just to clarify — it’s proper branded alcohol being dispensed in measured amounts, not cheap syrup from a machine! It’s actually a really efficient system.
Pool & rooms 🏊♀️
The pool areas are lovely and incredibly clean. We had a sea-view room on one of the top floors, which had a beautiful view.
Despite travelling during peak season, we were really impressed with the availability of sunbeds. A couple of mornings we went out and didn’t return until around 1–2pm, and we could still find sunbeds for our family of four. There are also plenty of beds on the large balcony area, so there are options if the pool area is busy.
Overall, we had a fantastic stay. The hotel, staff, food, drinks, activities and cleanliness were all brilliant. It’s clear that a lot of thought goes into making sure guests have a great holiday.
We absolutely loved it and will 100% be returning! ❤️

As an autistic man the amount of balloons there was horrendous plus the area is awful and the jet2 company was awful I would never go there again
Good place for a short holiday
Had a very enjoyable five days at the hotel. Location is good, around 30 minutes from Faro airport, 5 minutes walk to a small beach and 15 minutes taxi to Albufeira town. The food was pretty good, decent amount of choice in the buffet restaurant although after five days it was getting a bit repetitive. The swimming pools were good, including one with a swim up bar. The entertainment team were excellent during the daytime. All the staff were friendly and all spoke good English. The rooms were fine, although the shower was a bit temperamental, hot one moment then cold the next. Hairdryer didn’t work. But those are minor issues. All in all it is a decent place for a week or so. Five days was enough for us as it is quite small.
