This fabulous resort hotel is just a short walk from the sandy Falésia beach and fifteen minutes outside of Albufeira on Portugal's southern coast. The resort is surrounded by eight hectares of green countryside and features a light, contemporary décor designed to complement its beautiful natural surroundings, making it an ideal choice for nature lovers. The hotel's classic rooms, suites and apartments all come with plush, king-sized beds, private en suite bathrooms with walk-in showers, large flat-screen televisions and free Wi-Fi. Location is perfect and you can get anywhere along algarve from here. Spotless clean. Breakfast buffet was a delight with great waiting staff. Ate at the Japanese restaurant UDDO and unbelievable sushi and experience. Highly recommend

Amazing hotel. Friendly staff, great service, sun loungers galore, plenty of pools to choose from. Gym was well equipped, breakfast was plentiful, rooms were large, comfy, quiet and pitch black when curtains are closed and the bed is huge. Enough water to keep you going every day and little chocolates on your pillow every night. A couple of restaurants and supermarket right outside and easy access to the beach which is clean and beautiful yellow sand. Uber to old town is 10€. Poolside it’s 8€ for a can of coke which is steep but its completely insignificant when you’ve just had the most incredibly perfect 5 nights away.

Fantastic stay in a stunning location – 100% recommend!
My partner and I (aged 30 and 34) stayed at EPIC SANA Algarve for five days mid September, and had a fantastic time. The weather was beautiful, and the hotel and grounds were absolutely stunning, with beautiful flowers, greenery and nature throughout.
The location on top of the cliffs is incredible, with a beautiful path from the hotel down to the public beach (see my photos) - this and the great reviews were what pushed us to book this hotel. There is also a cliff walk right next to the resort, which we really enjoyed. We also didn’t have a car whilst there, but it was very easy to get around the Algarve using Uber which picked us up and dropped us off in front of the hotel entrance.
We only used the main outdoor pool (there are multiple pools at the hotel) but it was beautiful and there were plenty of sunbeds for everyone. Our room was also lovely with a great terrace and we received a complimentary bottle of wine and chocolates upon arrival which was a lovely added touch. We also loved that the bathroom toiletries were Aromatherapy Associates which we did not know before arriving.
Housekeeping was also excellent, with our room cleaned early each day and always to a very high standard. We also received chocolates, water and a little bookmark with an “Epic Mystery” story each evening.
There are several restaurants on site. We enjoyed the Italian, while our experience at the Asian restaurant was more mixed, although we absolutely loved the gyozas! We also tried the buffet on the first night and at €50 per person without drinks, I personally found it quite expensive as someone who tends not to eat meat or fish, although my partner, who does, found the selection perfectly adequate.
The breakfast included with our stay was excellent and had a great selection. The omelette station was a particular highlight for us — we ended up having fresh omelettes every morning and they were delicious.
Overall, we absolutely loved our stay. The beautiful setting, fantastic location, lovely room and genuinely kind staff made it a wonderful five days. We have already recommended EPIC SANA Algarve to family and friends and would 100% recommend it to others — we would happily return!

Really excellent hotel
We had a wonderful 8 night stay at this hotel. With one small exception - the service at Lima - we couldn’t fault this establishment. The breakfast offering was great, the bar was good fun in the evening, the rooms were spotless and the pool was well made. The best part though is the amazing service. In particular Jose and the gang in the bar and the entire breakfast crew.
Can’t wait to go back!
Amazing hotel
What a perfect stay! We went for our anniversary and we had the best experience. Anastasia made sure we had a quiet room as I requested and we had complimentary Fizz and chocolates which was just the nicest touch and made our day. She was so charming and helpful. We had lunch at the Deck bar and Tomas mafe us so welcome it was like we had known him for years. The way he attended to our requests and picked the best wine for us. He was a star employee he really went the extra mile as did Anastasia. 2 amazing employees. The spa and gym were amazing I had a great massage with Marta
