This beautiful, popular holiday oasis is situated in a quiet location on the outskirts of Porches, directly on a wonderful coastal cliff beside the Atlantic Ocean. Two small, public sandy beaches can be reached by descending a few steps along the cliff side and it is 4 km to the city centre as well as just 2 km to Armação de Pêra. With spacious bathrooms, a superb decoration and luxury amenities, the accommodation units invite guests to relax while enjoying a truly unforgettable stay. Guests can admire the beautiful landscaped gardens or the sparkling blue ocean from the comfort of their balconies or terraces. From casual dining to more elegant venues, the establishment offers a wide variety of culinary options, offering a total of 10 restaurants, one of them with 2 Michelin stars, that will impress even the most discerning palates. Travellers may enjoy different activities in and outside the hotel, such as golf, fitness, tennis, water sports and much more. The wellness and beauty treatments offered provide an amazing experience.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We booked this for my husband's birthday celebration, and although we had only booked a standard room, we were upgraded to a premium suite. It was the height of luxury, but unfortunately it was directly beside some building work and not only was the view spoiled but there was constant noise from the building. When I expressed my disappointment, we were moved to a really beautiful room in the Residnce building - absolutely fabulous with magnificent views of the sea! It really made the holiday. The staff here are outstanding, from the warm welcome we recieved the minute we walked into the hotel, tired and hungry, to the morning we left. The best place we ever stayed in. Can't wait to return!
The Vila Vita is a DREAM! I visited with my husband and 12 year old daughter.
The property is gorgeous (and quite large) and the staff are so incredibly friendly. The concierge team is delightful and upon check-in they offer the opportunity to text them (via WhatsApp) if you need anything. We used the WhatsApp chat for everything - dinner reservations, more pillows and blankets to the room, room service, etc.
We also booked a half day yacht cruise on the SilverStar. It was a bit pricey, but worth it. The boat was beautiful and the captain and first mate were so lovely and very knowledgable. We toured along the Algarve coast and went to the many beautiful caves. Just gorgeous. We stopped for a swim with a "sea scooter" and paddle board, which was very fun. We arranged (with the hotel) to have lunch catered on the boat and it was great. It was our best day in the Algarve.
The restaurants are all very good. If there are certain restaurants you want to try, you should make reservations prior to your arrival. We loved the teppanyaki restaurant. It was entertaining and delicious.
All in all, this is quite a resort and I highly recommend it.
We had the most amazing experience at Vila Vita Parc. Everything from arrival to departure was perfect. The staff is very attentive, the grounds are beautiful, and there is an array of great restaurants and activities to keep you busy. The rooms were clean and large with all of the needed amenities, the pool and beach area were lovely, and the spa offerings were abundant. I was even able to practice my Pilates in their new reformer studio. I hope that I can return for another perfect vacation.
My family and I stayed here for 5 nights in August. The hotel grounds are beyond gorgeous; just stunningly beautiful. The breakfast buffet each morning is wonderful and impressive.
The amenities at the beach club and down at the on-property beach are great, it makes it very easy to have a wonderful beach day here, and the beaches are among the best I have ever seen anywhere in the world.
The best part of all, though is the service and the staff. The service at Villa Vita Parc is absolutely top notch- the entire staff tries so hard to make sure you are happy and comfortable and you can tell they truly want to be helpful and for you to be happy. They truly hate saying “no” to any request.
The hotel manager George went above and beyond during our stay to make sure that we were well taken care of at all times, particularly with an unfortunate medical issue we experienced. He had the chef specifically try to prepare some foods we were missing from home.
Housekeeping also did a heroic job with all manner of messes we created.
There are many restaurants on property- some were better than others, though - the Japanese one was great, but other than that (perhaps not surprisingly), while they do portugese food extremely well, but the other cuisines not so much at times.
One other important item of note: this is not the place to stay if you have any mobility issues- there are lots of steep stairs and rocky cobblestone paths and hills everywhere. It is part of what makes it so beautiful but I can totally appreciate how it might not be for everyone.
All in all, they take extremely good care of you here and will work so hard to make sure you are comfortable and have all that you need to relax and enjoy.
best hotel i have ever been best service good restaurants wonderful surronding
