Just Bury Me At The Bela Vista!
Fabulous Oasis in Portimao. We stayed here at the end of August for 2 nights as part of our 30th wedding anniversary trip, and it did not disappoint! While Portimao is a busy town with lots of activity, the Bela Vista is a quiet oasis in a beautiful old estate overlooking the beach. Secluded from the hustle and bustle outside it's gates, it offers a luxurious setting, chic rooms and elegant meals. The pool is fantastic, the service is above and beyond, the room was bright and beautifully decorated (although not large) with a balcony and a beautiful view overlooking the gardens and the ocean. The Vista restaurant is an absolute treat - exceptional service and absolutely unforgettable food - the courses were like works of art! And the staff goes out of their way to make your stay fabulous and luxurious. Truly a memorable experience and we will definitely be back.

Excellent stay and meals
Great dinners at Bela and Vista restaurants. Plus great breakfast each morning and cocktails poolside.
Wonderful 5 star hotel
What a beautiful hotel! The property is beautiful and very well maintained. The hotel has so much charm and I love the colourful decor. Everything was thoughtfully taken care of, from the warm welcome at check-in to the cleanliness and comfort of the room. The staff were attentive and professional, and the atmosphere was relaxing and inviting. We truly enjoyed our stay and have already recommended the hotel to others.

Lovely Hotel
Amazing hotel with a fantastic and attentive staff. Also had one of the best meals of our life at Vista. I just wish this hotel was is a different location. It is very touristy surrounding the hotel. The hotel grounds itself feel like a quiet high end oasis but the surrounding area is not appealing at all.
Birthday treat
A wonderful stay from every point of view! Our room was bright and comfortable, with an excellent view of the beach and sea. Our meal in Vista restaurant was exceptional, a real treat for the taste buds with everything sourced locally. And the staff were outstanding- friendly and helpful and efficient. Of course, this all comes at a price. But, if your budget permits, it's most definitely worth it
