Ainoastaan hotellin tiedot olivat sovelluksessa hyvin näkyvissä.
The hotel's sea view location is excellent, and the pool area is very pleasant. Service around the pool was good, and there were enough sunbeds for everyone. The room was average and had everything we needed. We also visited the hotel spa; the couples' massage was good and cost €154.
The buffet food was very mediocre and bland, with barely any daily variation in the dishes. The specialty dinner restaurant (a la carte) was poor in quality: the service was rude and the food was low quality, especially the overcooked tuna steak. In addition, the courses were served far too quickly, and the entire three-course dinner was over in less than an hour.
The mixed drinks at the bar were made with very low-quality alcohol and did not taste like what you would normally expect at a bar; for example, the rum in the Cuba Libre did not taste like a major brand rum.
The service at the reception was occasionally rude and lacked a customer-service mindset—for instance, a late check-out was not possible even though check-in is only available starting at 3:00 PM. Guests were expected to handle all requests through the app, and as RIU loyalty members, we submitted our requests via the app as requested, but received no responses to them. Only the general hotel information was well presented in the app.
Only been in hotel 3 days of a 12 day stay. Staff are excellent. Shout out to David and Luisanna on reception helped me organise a taxi and restaurant reservation for our anniversary meal and a bottle of fizz delivered to room to help start the evening off right. Food excellent and staff very attentive. Bar staff excellent. Special lady in the restaurant always singing obviously happy in her work and brightens the morning with her song. Also no sun bed wars.
Love the hotel but not in September. The pool is freezing! They apparently do not put the heater on until October even though the nights are cool now. The hotel is busy and there are 4 people in the pool. The rest of the hotel is gorgeous.
Fabulous 4 star hotel, excellent staff who really do look after you and excellent food. We certainly will come back for our next Madeira holiday.
Just one issue - the hairdresser is awful. My Wife wanted a wash and blow-dry - he did not listen at all and did a style that he thought she wanted, it was really awful.
Just come back from a wonderful 10 day stay at this wonderful hotel. It was our second stay in 2 consecutive years. My husband and myself had a free room upgrade and it was amazing! We went with our son who like me has coeliac disease and require a gluten free diet. We were helped immensely by Erica and other members of staff who catered for our every need. They have a gluten free breakfast area but we were slightly disappointed to see people using it who shouldn't be walking over with normal bread on their plates which could cause cross contamination for us coeliacs. Entertainment is pretty good and plenty of sun beds too. Hope to return again one day. My favourite hotel to stay in thank you
