Fantastic hotel and staff
Another brilliant holiday at Porto Santa Maria. The hotel is beautiful, with an ideal location. The wonderful ambience throughout the whole complex is a real credit to everyone involved in making it such a special place. We’re already looking forward to returning!

Great experience. Nowhere better!
Excellent hotel. Staff exceptional. Our room, 22, was perfect for me, partially sighted and walking with a stick. It had our own garden, big surprise, so no need for sun-bed hunting, but there was always one free anyway. Shout out to Restaurant and pool bar staff, cleaner Paula and Joanna on Reception who quickly found our iPad we had stupidly left on the plane. Great hotel for disabilities. Pool warm and easy to get into. Very close to all shops and bars. Thank you.
Try to avoid this room
We booked December and asked for a junior suite , even gave them the room number where we stayed before , which we loved . Apparently the rooms have been changed and the rooms we got last time are now classed as harbour sea view rooms at a much greater cost . We were given 128 above a noisy car park with comings and goings all day . Reception did offer us a change of room half way through our stay but felt it was too late in the holiday to move . So disappointed.

Amazing hotel
We very much enjoyed our stay, the hotel is a perfect location for visiting places, restaurants and going to the sea. The hotel is extremely clean and staff are very friendly, happy and helpful. The breakfast is great, with plenty of choice. The pools are lovely and were never too busy, we could always get a sunbed. The roof top is a lovely area to sit for an evening drink and the sea just over the road is amazing!! The rooms are fabulous and the beds are so comfortable, our balcony view was stunning. We will definitely be returning!!
