H10 Porto Poniente

First time at the Porto poniente and will definitely be back. First impression when you walk in is how clean and spacious it is the reception staff were very friendly, there was a bit of confusion over my payment which I had paid 8 months before we arrived but eventually sorted it all out. They offered us a glass of cava on arrival. We arrived about an hour earlier but our room was ready. We booked a junior suite with sea view which was fabulous on the second floor, we are glad we did as the rest of the hotel rooms look out over the back streets. We went half board but next time would just do bed and breakfast, the evening buffet meal was just ok would go out to eat in the evening only 5 minutes walk to the old town and plenty of cheap restaurants round about the hotel. Breakfast was good plenty of choice for everyone, gets very busy at breakfast though but no problems really. The only little complaint I would have regarding breakfast is they only have one size of cup which is a very small coffee cup and we like tea in the morning and they don’t have the small tea pots like other hotels provide. So having to queue up to keep refilling our little mugs. The rooms are cleaned every day. There is a pool on the 5th floor but we could never get sunbeds so we used the quiet area on the 7th floor adults only with a small splash pool. All in all an excellent hotel in a great location with friendly staff, so will book again next year.

Located just minutes from the old town right at the front across from the beach. Very relaxed hotel with modern vibes nice lobby and bar area. The pool is on the 5th floor again with nice bar area and plenty of beds. Room was city view with terrace but we didn’t use the terrace as it was facing a block of flats. In hindsight we wish we had booked a sea view room. Room was spotless and large. Beds were reasonably comfy but could have been comfier. Food in the hotel was nice but not amazing and I saw some reviews of hotel rated the food highly. We were half board so breakfast was fine, dinner would give it 3/5. Would return to hotel in future.
