The hotel is really good but the breakfast needs to be open till 11am as it’s queuing out of the door when it’s supposed to be finished at 10am but also it’s says it shuts breakfast at 10am but it’s still open till 10:30am so needs to be specified what time it actually closes but the time should be 11am as it would be beneficial for most people and the waiters and waitresses just stand there at lunch time or dinner time and not come and offer you a drink or anything but you have to ask them or go to the bar in the restaurant.
Also The lifts don’t stop at the right floors either as if you press your number it will just go straight past and go to another floor to collect someone else when you’ve got in it from the ground floor or your own floor.
However on the last day the restaurant was completely empty no cold buffet to eat at all and the reception staff said we had hired a car when we haven’t so watch out for them trying to charge you for it at the end of your holiday.
The cleaners are really good at there job and the hotel is very clean and the entertainment staff are really good
Just back from Port Benidorm, we are a family of 4 with a 1 year old and an 11 year old. We stayed in a family room was a great size, loads of room for us including 3 big suitcases, a pram and a travel cot in the room. Massive shower cubicle which is a bonus for us with a 1 year old and having to get in with him. There is air con and a ceiling fan, the air con is set and you cant adjust the temperature. With the high temperature and large room, for us it didn't go cold enough during the day and the air con kept turning off so we would come in and the room was hot.
As other reviews, the lifts are awful. We stayed on the 3rd floor and it seemed the lift prioritised the higher floors and kept going past our floor. Being on the 3rd floor it wasn't too bad that we could take the stairs, however with a 1 year old and a pram, it was tough having to carry everything up and down all the time.
Pool area is great, no sunbed wars that we encountered. We would go out in the morning and spend the afternoon at the pool. We could always get a bed, but we struggled finding an umbrella. Some days we ended up sitting at the pool bar as we needed some shade. Lots of people playing with balls and they were constantly hitting people which was annoying. We all got hit many times as people were very spread out playing and took over the entire area, the lifeguard was hit and miss being there.
Food was fine for us, there was always something everyone would eat, even if it meant a cob and some chips, no one went hungry. The mealtimes for us were very late with evening meal starting at 7.30pm. The bar in the restaurant can get very busy and always had a queue. We were all inclusive but only having soft drinks, they are served in very small glasses and had to queue up at the bar for them.
Despite the few flaws, it is a great hotel, all the staff were great especially the restaurant staff including the ones checking you in and the cleaners - they really don't stop and always have a smile on their face. My daughter was trying bits of Spanish she does it in school and they were always encouraging her if she spoke English to try it in Spanish and helping her.
Just returned from this hotel and we must admit we were worried by some of the reviews, but how wrong we were. This is by far the best hotel we’ve stayed at in Benidorm. The hotel is spotless, sea view room was perfect, food good quality and hot,all inclusive drinks were good with some branded drinks eg Johnny walker, baileys branded gin and proper cocktails not ready made. There were plenty of sunbeds, wonderfull staff. Also we noticed no idiots just nice people staying here .Please ignore bad reviews you will not be disappointed, fabulous hotel.
