Located in ElPinar area, 8€-10 uber into town, free bus is so handy during morning or afternoon diesnt run 1-4pm, very busy hotel. No enough sun beds the Q starts at 830 to open at 10 couldnt not believe it, food was okay plenty to choose from but kids selection is terrible. Ordered McDonald’s few times as kids were not eating. Not a 4 star hotel a good 3star tops. Room were clean sofa bed is very uncomfortable sheets weren’t changed for week stayed there. I stripped bed left sheets in pile and cleaner left them there it was comical I just made bed again. Pool is ridiculous no floaties by one lifeguard and ruined kids holiday very strict not pleasant made babies get out of seat rings. Entertainment was great 2nights we left but animation team are second to none. Worked do hard great dancers costumes music acts. Drinks were perfect. Lines could be long at night 10min max. I would return but not in high season and subbed and pool put me off. Staff in hotel were fabulous.
Just returned from a lovely 4nights here and have to say it was very good, Welcomed by lovely friendly staff, paid 10euros each to hire towels and collected our cup tokens which was a great system as no dirty cups or glasses left on tables,You brought them back to bar to collect fresh ones when needed and got euros back once finished with.We never queued for sunbeds in morning as there's always a bed, two pools and a splash pool, great animation team who worked hard to keep us entertained throughout the day with pool games and night time with shows which were very good, foam party was fun,Food was lovely, drinks were fab with big measures,Self serve your own beer, water, and soft drinks,Snacks all day long, toasties, burgers and chips etc, There were ques for bar but went down very quick,Our Room was basic but cleaned with fresh towels everyday.Free bus into toromolinos and bus service to benalmadena but we got taxis which were cheap, shops on site at hotel but there's a supermarket minutes away that sells everything.Bar is open till midnight, Staff work very hard but friendly and always smiling,we would definately go back, Great value, we had a great time.
High on a hill. Good bus service tho to shops and beach Young kids would do ok at the entertainment. My grandson was 7. Not for him. Que for food at busy times. Food was good. Rooms a bit dated. Pool opens at 10am. Que for the loungers from 9am. Signs up. No smoking. But people smoke. No food at the pool side. But people have food. It’s a bit far to walk for a drink by the pool. Pool areas are not big enough for the size of hotel. Resteraunt is not big enough for the amount of people in the hotel.
Firstly this hotel is a 3 star at best and in no way a 4 stat.
Arrived about 11 am . Had emailed prior for rooms together and early checking which was willing to pay for. . Travelled as a family of 6 so had to have 2 rooms. The staff refused early check in. Even after email confirming. .
Upon getting rooms eventually 4 hours later for one and having to wait for second. The balcony door was broken and wouldnt shut or lock. I have a autistic daughter with no danger awareness and we were on 7th floor. This was so insage we couldnt stay in room til it was fixed. The staff were abrupt and extremely rude when I explained I needed it fixed sooner rather then later And just kept saying they'd do it when they could. When I asked for a manager they suddenly spoke no english. So we left to wonder about til about 8pm. And then got other room then . One room was extremely dated and the other door was updated slightly .but one had a bath it was vile looked ancient dirty and scuffed towels had holes in them as well . Was also extremely noisy through night ppl screaming banging doors etc
The pool was so busy all day people queuing from 8am for a lounger even though it didnt open til 10am. Then after buying floaties toys ext from the shop on site we were repeatedly told we could not use them in pool . And constantly told off by the life guards . Which upset the kids quite abit . They did daily games but again they favoured Spanish families .
Then queue for food was horrific with staff favouring Spanish. They just kept letting them through making every English person wait . The Spanish were quite rude pushing and shoving.
Food was not the best and we struggled to feed kids and ate out most of the time.
Then there was a leak outside room door ceilomg actually fell through and after telling them a few times thia wasnt fixed and was worse by time we left . We jad to be extremely careful not to slip as it was puddling outside door constantly . .
There isnt enough seats for entertainment on the night and got so busy it wasnt possible to attend.
Also water went off on our last day so we had no shower bath or anyway to wash before our early flight.
It wasnt the cheapest holiday to book and we were left disappointed to say the least . Expectimg the standard 4 star and this was a world away from other 4 stat hotels weve beem to even been at better 3 stars. . It also advertises free shuttle bus to beach amd shops. As ots way out and about a 40 minute walk with barely any footpath but u actually have to walk 10 min to bus stop. It's notpushchair friendly at all and shops are never open the times they say they are. So of needing water etc its quite a hike. We ended up having to spend fortunes on uber just to get about .
Out of town location, rooms and buffet poor. Flooded corridor outside of room, not dealt with so had to keep wading through water. Pool buffet dry and just chips and boiled burgers. Not really 4 star. Queues for pool end at need to be there to stand in line 45 mins before.
