We thoroughly enjoyed our week in this lovely hotel. It was our 3rd visit in 5 years. The location is great, as it is so close to the beach and a short taxi ride to Carihuela and Benelmadena. The hotel is very clean and the staff are efficient and welcoming. A special mention has to go the wonderful entertainment team. Our 3 grandaughters loved the mini disco and activities. Sarai, Celia and Santi, in particular, we're so friendly and really made the kids holiday special. Although the evening entertainment was fine, maybe an extra night with an out side music act more for adults would be good. Food was fine, sometimes very good. The snack bar and pizzas were good, too. I would definitely recommend this hotel for families.
Just returned after a week here with my husband and 2 great nephews. We upgraded to all inclusive gold before we got to the hotel. The room was spacious but the cleaner only every made the beds (sheets were never changed whole week) and changed the towels but the floors were never moped and got dirtier and dirtier as the week went on. The queues are absolutely ridiculous for everything. People start queuing for sunbeds from 6.30/7 am even though you can’t get one until 9am it was funny the way people literally running as soon as it was open. Having upgraded we didn’t need to queue up at the restaurant which was crazy with people queuing out of the hotel some days. You then have to queue again to get food. The food is absolutely disgusting most of it is slop with no food hygiene what so ever. The only decent food we ate was at The Fusion Al a carte but even then the desserts are the same as they servryat the pool bar in an afternoon . At breakfast I asked for omelette or poached eggs but they don’t do either ( first hotel I’ve ever been to that don’t do them. Some days there were no clean cups or glasses to have a drink with our food. The staff do work really hard but there’s way too many guests for the hotel to give a descent service. The gold seating area at the pool bar was small and was used by people who hadn’t upgraded also taking the ice creams meant for those who had. So is it work the extra money when people use it anyway? My biggest problem was people smoking. You literally can’t get away from it. Even when we went to the Al a carte restaurant people were smoking constantly. It’s not good going back to your room smelling of smoke every night and more so the kids. The boys had a good time because of the friends they made. I would not return to this hotel and definitely don’t recommend it.
The food is awful, we ate out for lunch and dinner, the breakfast we had but I literally had cereal the whole time with plant based milk. The scrambled egg was like powder awful even I can make better food than that and I'm not a chef! If you think the food is good here you clearly have never had any decent food in your life it's awful.
Entertainment in the day was good that's about it. Evening was oryt but bit same same.
Rooms very basic more 3 star hotel I wouldn't say 4 star.
We had a great holiday but this hotel isn't great Pros Great entertainment, lots going on and they work hard all day at it , Decent location Short airport transfer , The bad bits The food is atrocious,in my opinion it's nearly inedible, we only had breakfast there and ate our for lunch and evening meal The drink tokens you get given for drinks is a terrible idea , the pool is not clean at all I don't think the filters work they are disgusting,! Rooms were clean ish but not to 4 star standards There are far to many people that stay at this hotel for the size of the hotel People que waiting for the pool to open to put towels down and then you que again for breakfast , in my opinion the hotel needs to make huge improvements especially the food but the entertainment is fantastic if you have kids , they did love it and we had a great holiday and didn't let the hotel ruin our time away , we booked this holiday a couple of days before and wish I did a little more research,
Awful hotel. Do not recommend. On the first night our air-conditioning wouldn't work. They had no maintenance team on so we had to endure nearly 30 degrees of heat all night. They gave us an extension lead for a fan which was already in the room. This didn't work either. Next day they moved us to another room. We had to repack and unpack and the balcony view was awful compared to our previous room. Funnily enough there was no fan in this room which suggests they knew the other one wasn't working from the start. However that isn't the main complaint. The food was awful. From the first meal onwards just dire. Queues everywhere, canteen vibe and tasteless food. On our third night we had an American night. I noticed a funny taste when eating my burger. I looked and it was pink and undercooked. My husband had eaten most of his by then and my son a quarter. Sure enough the next day we all woke up ill. My son stayed in the room all day and couldn't eat much for the rest of the holiday. I was okay after taking Immodium. My poor husband was so ill. He couldn't eat or drink for the rest of the holiday and we didn't eat as a family for the rest of our stay. Couldn't go on any day trips and my husband basically lost the majority of his holiday. On getting home he got tested and it was Campylobacter which is bacteria which causes gastro enteritus from raw meat in burgers and poultry. My other son who didn't eat the burger was fine. Whilst we were there I witnessed serving staff touching food with their bare hands, Hardly cooking the second side of the meat and a chicken kebab I ordered at the snack bar was pink! The problem with this hotel is too many customers and too small a facility. Cutting corners by not cooking meat properly. This has put us off all inclusive holidays for life and I am so sad at how much money we have wasted.
