This beautiful complex is ideally located in Torremolinos on the Costa del Sol. The Puerto Marina leisure area is just a few steps away, while the city centre is a couple of minutes by car away. The international airport is just 8 km away. The hotel has a large outdoor pool surrounded by a delightful garden overlooking the sea perfect to spend a sunny day. Children will love the mini-club. Visitors can enjoy a delicious meal in the restaurant or some drinks and snacks in the bar. The family-friendly hotel offers spacious rooms with a friendly, welcoming decoration in a traditional Spanish style. They are equipped with all the essential amenities needed to have a pleasant and complete experience.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Myself, my husband and two girls aged 6 and 4 had an absolutely wonderful 5 nights staying here last week (10th-15th Aug 2026). The location is great, only 15 minutes taxi from the airport and right on the promenade and beach, 5 minute walk from the beautiful marina with great and reasonable restaurants, bars and shops. My girls were thrilled with the Alehop and ice cream shop! The hotel is so well catered for all needs, beautiful pool and small kids pool which was nice to sit close to and relax while the kids splashed and enjoyed themselves safely. The best part was the entertainment and Kids Club with the most caring, friendly staff that were full of fun especially Claudia, Laura, Pablo, Alberto, Raul and I loved the Aqua aerobics with Montse! Kids had so much fun with all of the daytime and evening activities where we could still keep an eye on them but still enjoy some time to ourselves to relax or go to the indoor or outdoor gym, do a class etc. The shop was fully stocked with all of the essentials and floaties for the pool etc. Breakfast selection was also excellent as well as the bar snacks and lunch menu. We honestly could not fault the hotel, staff were brilliant and helpful as well the cleanliness and hygiene. Apartment was small but fine for our needs and easy to get to. Overall a wonderful time and we will be returning next year !
I'll start with the good.. Location is great, daytime entertainment staff were superb really good if that is what you like we didn't see any of the evening entertainment. The shop staff were very nice and pleasant. The place is spotless too.
What didn't go well.. A LOT. We booked a studio, had 3 room changes on arrival as they were either smelling of bad drains/sewage or balcony door didn't open ect.
Electrical sockets in the kitchen were loose and dangerous - had to hold it in place when putting a plug in and taking it out. Only one socket for everything. Window in the kitchen was practically open it was velux type of window. The noise coming in was ridiculous and the sun coming in was also ridiculous considering it is a studio. We did get a blind for this on the third day. Bad drain / sewage smells throughout the whole stay every day at random times. Fan in the bathroom didn't work Cleaners coming to clean the room before 9am ! Seriously we are on holidays. Unable to get a coffee at the bar in the morning unless you had paid for bed and breakfast. I couldn't believe that I had to wait until 12pm to get a coffee at the bar. The balcony door didn't shut properly we asked at reception twice to get this fixed and it never was. At times I thought the door was going to come off it was so fragile. Bar staff out on the marina were understaffed in the evening time, waiting for ages to get served and they were rude at times. Likewise inside at the pool bar staff were rude at times in the evening. Some days the towels we were given were old and tatty, almost threadbare. We had no air conditioning for the last 3 days of our stay at all despite telling reception staff and being told a technician would come up. Air conditioning went regularly throughout our stay but wouldn't work at all for the last three days and nights which was not acceptable given the heat on August 12th and 13th in particular. I come to Benalmadena regularly and first time I stayed here and the last. This hotel is way overpriced for what it is, your simply paying for a poor room with great location and great entertainment that is it so if that is higher on your agenda then this place is for you. Friends were also staying in different rooms in a different block and had similar sewage smells throughout their stay in their apartments.
Honestly couldn’t have asked for a better hotel, food, location and hospitality! The staff had a great relationship with the children ( kids club) and always kept everyone entertained! Amazing aircon in the room, close to beach and restaurants! Hotel was kept clean at all times! Nice size room and great view of the beach! Honestly the staff is a credit to that hotel as they always made it a fun atmosphere, great value for money with plenty of amenities! Would 100% recommend and would 100% be back
Excellent location. Great fun. Lovely friendly staff. Excellent amenities. Well located. Lots of food places, bars and things to do nearby. Nice pool and entertainment. Cannot fault for anything!
3 night stay as a couple
I will start with the negatives as we felt this impacted our holiday the most.
Air conditioning, we were in room 3602, the air con was awful, three times it stopped working all together. This happened through the night into the afternoon, meaning sleep was uncomfortable and room became like too hot. Reported to reception each time and air con was restored, but still didn’t work well. Air conditioning came out as a trickle, The buttons for turning fan up done nothing, it was stuck on lowest setting when it was on,
Room is very basic and dated, and could do with freshening up. There was only 1 mirror and this is in the bathroom, so as a couple it was inconvenient when getting dressed to go out for the evening. The wife had to wait until we’d both had showers, before having access to mirror. Could do with an extra mirror in the room.
Beds I felt were uncomfortable, they were pushed together to make a double which is fine, but nothing to latch them together, so they kept splitting apart,
Kitchen had a frosted glass window and facing the sun, there was no blind or curtain to block the sun, so kitchen was roasting. There was Velcro around the window, so looks like blind is missing.
Positives…. The hotel is in a good location close to marina and on the beach path next to beach.
Sea view room was clean, and had nice view from balcony.
Pool area was pleasant, and we had no issue getting loungers, even after 11am there were still a few available.
Breakfast was also good, decent choices and fresh food.
Experience Overall we paid £496 for three nights at this hotel, having stayed there we would not choose this hotel again, although the location was great, the experience within the room didn’t meet the price paid. The biggest issue for us was the air conditioning. Made the room uncomfortable. The other issues with the room we could have lived with as the location was good.
If you’re going here and get the same room, check the air conditioning before unpacking, if it still the same, I’d ask to change rooms.
