Located right on Caleta de Fuste Beach, Barcelo Fuerteventura Castillo features 3 swimming pools, a Thalasso Spa, a daily entertainment programme and a kid's club. The Thalasso Spa includes seawater pools, hydromassage jets, a sauna, sensation showers, massages, and a gym. At the marina you can practise a wide range of water sports. There are also 2 golf courses within 10 minutes' drive. There are several restaurants at Barcelo Castillo Beach Resort offering local and international cuisine. You will also find many bars, including a poolside bar, sports bar and a theatre with evening shows.

Nice hotel overall, clean both in our bungalow and in all the main areas. Good breakfast but it felt like cost cutting was taking place (juices like water, nutella only there sometimes) pools were all good but way too much sunlounger hogging all day with no one using them?! Kids activities were excellent with lots to do. WiFi very good. Excellent location with beautiful views. Some general maintenance needs to be done around the back of the property (board walk) staff were all very friendly.

Lovely stay great facilities
We spent two weeks here. The hotel staff were lovely and very helpful. The accommodation, we had two bungalows, was spacious clean and comfortable. We were 1/2 board and found the food good and plenty of choice. We ate breakfast daily and picked up a few snacks for lunch, the eve meals were varied and delicious. The pools were not too busy although not enough umbrellas so you have to do an early towel run to get one. We mostly stayed at the smaller pools as the ones at the main hotels were a bit busy for us. The beach is great and loads of sun beds available for a cost. All in all it was a great stay and we would return.

Excellent stay - no complaints!
Ignore all the negative reviews you may have seen because, personally, I have absolutely zero complaints about our stay. We had a fantastic experience from start to finish.
The location was lovely, the food was great, and the atmosphere throughout the hotel was brilliant. My family and I stayed half board for 10 nights, booking two rooms. Both rooms were spotless when we arrived, and the cleaners were always very prompt and thorough whenever we were out during the day.
We also tried three of the restaurants during our stay: the general buffet, Dolce Vita and Rodizio. Rodizio was probably my favourite. The staff were incredibly friendly, the food was delicious, and the whole environment felt really welcoming.
The only downside I would mention is the usual sunbed situation. People are very quick to reserve them early in the morning, so finding a spot around the pool can be difficult. But honestly, that seems to be the case at most hotels these days!
Overall, I think this hotel offers fantastic value for money. The way we were treated throughout our stay genuinely made every penny worth spending. A huge thank you to all the staff who work so hard to make everyone’s holiday enjoyable. We had a brilliant time and would definitely recommend it!

Dad and daughter holiday
We loved the bungalow style room configuration at this hotel. A great space to just chill out and not be bothered by other guests. Nice clean room with terrace including table and chairs and loungers. Kitchen is ok for basic food prep but good to note there’s no oven or toaster, just hob and microwave. If you are looking for hotel entertainment then you’ll need to visit the sister hotel that’s just a few minutes up the road (Mar). Overall a great place to stay with the beach a few minutes to the south and the town starting a couple of minutes north.

Brilliant location but come with cost
Great location,next to the beach , room is good but bed n mattress is of quality of hostel, springs make noise when you turn and bed moves around as on wheels.Staff could be more friendly n welcoming overall , it was hit n miss. Biggest pain as I booked half board that water is treated as alcohol n not free while lunch or dinner, ridiculous to pay for water though you paid for meals , never seen this non sense behaviour , even though it was written in the fine prints.Entertainment was basic plus you pay extra for most the activities which was again crazy to pay!
