Caybeach Caleta is located in a 2 minutes walk from the beach and 150 metres from Castillo centre. This appartments with one or two bedrooms, fully equipped kitchen and bathroom, sofa bed in the living room and a large terrace with chairs and sunloungers ready to enjoy are the best option to discover Fuerteventura. Family fun awaits at the hotel's multisport and playground areas where have a mini golf match, discover the tennis court or have a bath in the swimming pool is a must.
Stayed here a week with 2 teenagers .. bungalow clean and perfect for price , however, be aware there is a road that separates 2 sides and it was disappointing to have a bungalow that had a terrace literally on the pavement and bang opposite reception entrance !! Not very discreet if you want to chill Out on terrace.. having said that pool area was nice and it had a bar and basic snack area ! Entertainment non existent pool table out of order .. but it’s cheap and location to beach is great and to caleta centre equally so .. if you just want cheap clean accommodation and a decent pool to then use it as a base then it’s a great affordable place ( request non road side prior to going )
Just spent a couple of weeks here with my wife & 3 daughters (13,16,17). Self catering. The hotel itself is functional but far from luxurious, which we knew and suited us for what we needed. Had everything you need for a base if you planning on getting out and about, the location is absolutely spot on, 5 minutes to the beach, 5 minutes to the local shops, with a decent amount of bars/restaurants. Evening entertainment at the hotel is basic to say the least, so we tended to head out to Peiros which is best place locally for entertainment, but we weren’t really there for that anyway. Bar prices were reasonable considering we were self catering (€3, a beer). The sun lounger situation is chaos- it has been mentioned previously, you have to get there early & wait 45 minutes for them to be unlocked- then you have the hostile atmosphere of people feeling entitled to however many they want, we were lucky and it was all quite amicable whilst we were there but apparently an Italian & Brit were proper kicking off only the week before- just not a nice start to the day every morning. We were happy to put towels on the patio or walking from the chalet/villa if they were taken, but come mid afternoon you could normally grab a couple if say you’d been out exploring etc. Air con is only jn 1 room kitchen or bedroom which was frustrating- we had to leave all doors open through the night to allow cool airflow- which tbh was limited.. so sticky nights… we did encounter 1 cockroach in the bathroom- I think this was due to my daughter leaving the window open- he was quickly dispatched and we moved on! Chalets are just a bit tired tbh, cleaning was meant to be every day- our apartment was done twice during our stay. Also the roof of the main complex is completely ripped off-but not removed so is just flapping in the wind- must of been some kind of canvas roof top bar at some point- but rather than completely remove it, it’s been left and as your sunbathing it just looks unsightly when you glance up, that may sound a bit pretentious but just highlighting it could all do with a bit of love and attention. Also planes fly over Very frequently due to the location being so close to the airport - didn’t bother us, in fact quite like watching them come and go. If your missus is anyway high maintenance I wouldn’t recommend this place, but if your a happy go lucky family and want a decent place in the sun, just a bit rough around the edges I’d say go for it- it ticked all our boxes & we had a lovely 2 weeks.
Stayed as family of 3 in July 2026. No issues with the rooms, they're not 5 star as this isn't what the accommodation is. But clean and useful. Air con in the bedroom which I'd personally have preferred in the living room but only a preference as it worked well. Food and drink served at the pool bar, with breakfast available each morning for extra cost if self catering. Says there's entertainment which for the most part there wasn't, until someone came round a couple of times during our stay and kicked off a game of pool or shuffleboard. Not a full programme as advertised though. As explained by others the sunbeds can be a problem, as there's only 80 in the hotel. Assume it's for a health and safety reason as there's plenty of space to add more. I guess during the quieter months it's not a problem, but in the summer holidays you need to be there queuing up for a bed to grab one at 10am. Service of the cleaners all fine, and for the most part it was quiet enough. Of course most people are on holiday so expect some late night noise and chatter as people get in from the bars in the early hours.
Great value for money and would return if the price is right.
Caleta de Fuste is quite quiet as a whole. There are plenty of options for bars, food, drinks etc, but you can walk around it in an hour or so.
Great family accommodation good value bungalows location is good for restaurants, shops and beach. Sun loungers not enough although they are chained up till 10.00am but people there at 9.30 and before they put their towels etc on parasol never seen that before. Staff are friendly and helpful breakfast choice good, the bungalows are kept clean no house keeping on Sunday clean towels daily and sheets changed once in the week we were there.lm disabled and used my disability scooter the pavements and paveways are the best I've seen for sometime and the beach you couldn't faulter brilliant
Some of these reviews are so unfair! No, we didn't count the amount of spoons missing from the cutlery drawer or moved the bed to observe a crack in a bedroom floor tile like some on here therefore read this review as it's based on what's important when on a holiday not pulling apart very minor issues!!!
Location, perfect. 5 minutes to everything in all directions. Market, across the road on Tuesdays and Saturdays (only worth a visit if you want knock off goods which my girls loved). Shops, bars, and restaurants all very close and none i would suggest avoiding. We didn't have a bad meal in 11 nights and used a different restaurant every evening.
Beach, again, different parts accessible via a 5 minute walk in multiple directions. The location really is spot on. Beach is so big and lovely, has toilets and a breach bar. The harbour is a short walk and you'll find boat trips and sea activities round there. Little tip - plan ahead, the pedalos and paddleboards etc get busy so expect waits. Also, and i hate to criticise, but we paid big money for a 2 hour shark/whale/dolphin boat trip and saw nothing. This seemed to be a regular issue with everyone else who did the trip during our time here so we're not sure these creatures are actually available to see as no one saw anything ever.
Hotel itself, didn't experience rude staff? Reception upon check in were polite and welcoming. Ok, so they didn't do cartwheels across the floor when we arrived like some reviewers on here clearly wanted but we were met with a smile so all good. Little tip - you need to rent a TV and the aircon remote so ask during check in as we didn't relise until we got to our room (perhaps they should mention this during check in - its only 6 euros per remote that you get back at the end but don't bother with the TV, no UK channels).
The apartments... i honestly didn't see what the issue was, spacious, clean, good aircon, shower worked and had warm water and the beds all comfy. We had the pullout beds in the living room as kids had the bedrooms. They were OK, what you expect from a pullout bed. We had maids visit regularly (lovely friendly ladies) towels/bedding changed a few times so no issue there. Nice patio area, close the the pool yet not noisy. Little tip - take pegs for the outside drying stand as its windy and blows everything off.
Pool area... so the sunbed situation. 81 sunbeds that are stacked at night. The lifeguard unchains them bang on 10am everyday, you need to get down there at 9:45 to get some, which we did no bother. No arguing, everyone helped eachother, it was fine... BUT don't expect to come down to the pool at 11am and there be beds. Little tip - If you get sunbeds and don't sit on them, after an hour the lifeguard gives them away which is great! Also, if you need a sunbed and none are available, ask the lifeguard as they are monitoring the ones not being used. Pools nice, big and warm. Not a single complaint. Pool bar is cheap, plays music and doesn't get too busy. There is no pool entertainment at all so don't expect it.
Didn't use the hotel on an evening therefore unable to comment on the facilities but there is an evening entertainment notice board on the wall in reception. Late check out wasn't available (busy time of year) but we were given an apartment for an hour to shower and change before our flight (free of charge).
All in all we had a lovely holiday, stayed at a great hotel, had a lovely apartment, everyone we met friendly and helpful. The resorts fab. Planes overhead are no bother, you get used to them after a day or so and are a novelty not an issue. Visit the water park, it was a great day out. Visit Aloha Pizza for an absolute bargain meal and the biggest pizzas you'll ever experience in life. Bako burgers if you love a cheaper better version of Five Guys. Enjoy your holiday!
