Club Caleta Dorada

Basic 3* stayed in 2 bedroom apartment beds really uncomfortable. Floor tiles coming loose all way through the bungalow door wouldn't lock properly even though it looked locked . Food was ok just a bit repetitive. Noticed alot of people not washing hands when going to toilets its not wonder that noone got ill here the hotel dont inforce any kind of hand sanitizer in the restaurant. Drinks really poor very rarely cold and flat most of time wish I had gone half board ended up buying own out . And hotel entertainment was not really up to much. Paid nearly £4500 for 10 nights here and feel that standards could have been better . Be prepared for long waits at the bar with only one person working most times and self service is either not working or switched off . Floor tiles really slippy round pool nearly fell a few times and I was only walking slow . All in all not the best or not the worst I have stopped at . Won't return

Really really loud we have had no sleep all week and are exhausted, it took me 2 nights half asleep to figure out a bolt was holding the window slightly open but even closed the noise is so bad, planes also flying over every few minutes but my partner booked this and must have known rhat so cant complain about that, accommodation wise cant really complain just the fact that we couldnt sleep AT all, so unrested

Cockroache, Ant infested bungalows, kids club, that's locked and never open, games room that's chargable, false advertising of accommodation, doesn't look anything like the pics at all, in blocks A or B. The air-conditioning either doesn't work or it leaks and takes 3 days to complain before they fix it and even then its a bodgit job! Entertainment is bareable, not too bad, pools are decent, but need a good clean. Cockroaches were seen one of our days there in the main restaurant. Skips everywhere with rubbish dumped in them, the place in some areas are just dropping apart. Our plaster was falling off the walls in our bungalow and if the air-conditioning carried on leaking, we would have had our own swimming pool in the bungalow, no need to use one in resort! Staff don't seem at all bothered when you complain, almost like its expected, its the norm! They don't apologise, or rush themselves to rectify any of the problems! We informed Jet2 of our youngest son being ASD with SEN and could they make staff aware at the hotel / resort so they could make sure the accommodation they placed us in would be suitable because of how he is and they couldn't of made it more worse! They sofa beds they expect you to sleep on are rock hard and if you are only 5ft6 like me, you constantly keep catching your legs on the metal frame getting in and out the bed! Popping ibuprofen like smarties to kill my joint pain from the sofa bed, just to try not to feel like I was aching all the time! There are a lot of cats around the resort, probably to catch the mice and rats you can see scurrying about on an evening! So I would never recommend this hotel to anyone, ever! I'm shocked at Jet2 being a reputable holiday company recommending this resort / hotel, it is disgusting and needs blowing up and rebuilding from scratch, it is a dirty, vermin ridden infested, down and out scummy place that you wipe your feet when you walk out! Don't book here and put yourself through the misery, we couldn't wait to get home. As a family every holiday we've taken abroad, or UK we've loved, recommended and always been upset when we leave, but this place we were counting down the days to come back home!
