I have stayed a few times before at various times of year & upon check in we were upgraded to a Junior suite. The room was fab & although no sun on our 2 balconies it meant the rooms were quite cool . The food was very good lots of choice & yes you can always find fault but the staff work like trojans throughout the hotel which is why many people return here. We were unlucky that the Calima was still affecting the weather but our last 3 days were hot 🔥 I really like this hotel yes it does look a bit tired but it's not 4 stars UK it's Spanish 4 stars it makes a difference

Very disappointing - better hotels
Disappointed, I would not rate this hotel a four star . The actual hotel itself was ok just very tired looking . We did have daily maid service and our room was nice and quiet . What really let this hotel down was the food , lots of choice but it all tasted the same , no flavour and the cheese and salad were hot , the lunch I never had as it looked awful. The rule about the beach towels never happens , no one takes them Away and lots of towels on them all Day . Entertainment at night is very short around 45 minutes and a bit meh. The drinks are watered down , the cocktails are the worst like slushy drinks full of ice and can’t taste the alcohol . The beach is ok but only one food place on there and that was always packed .strongly recommend walking into town some nice little restaurants there and a nice vibe but mostly Italian . Entertainment was only 45 mins long every other eve and lounge busy. Coffee was awful ,diddnt matter which one you chose they were so weak to didn’t bother with that anymore.
The sunbeds were very dirty and needed a clean and due to the weather not being great we were lucky to be able to get one but not sure you would be able to in normal circumstances.
Just felt very letdown and very disappointed. We waited so long to be able to go on holiday and it just looked very tired. Lack cluster hotel in the ate out five nights out of seven because we just couldn’t face the food in the evening. The best thing was the bed very large .

Tired in areas and could do with a freshen up
I had read some terrible reviews about this hotel in the last few months about dirty bedding dirty rooms but if I’m honest I didn’t find any of them issues. Our room was cleaned daily could’ve done with a freshen up. It’s looking a bit tired and dated as a lot of areas in the hotel. balcony furniture could do with updating. It’s very old and tired looking. Some areas could do with a better clean can’t say they were the best The music can be a bit loud around the pool sometimes when you’re trying to relax First time staying all inclusive don’t think I’ll do it again lots of choice some food very much the same every day drinks are not that strong. I was quite surprised. Plus points, you can go straight out the back gates onto a nice beach safe for children It’s a bit out of town if you want to walk and go to other shops and restaurants. Staff are friendly and helpful, which is a bonus.
Fabulous hotel
Fantastic hotel. Food was varied hotel was clean and tidy. Room was made up everyday with clean towels.provided if needed. Nothing to complain about and would definitely go back

More like 3 star hotel
Positives: Overall the hotel staff were nice, most were quite quick with service, apart from forgetting some drinks at dinner in the Italian restaurant but that’s fine. Food was good for a buffet and had a good variety. Also, we loved the themed nights. The soft drinks were self-service around the pool so didn’t have to wait in a queue which is a bonus. Beds are super comfy and we requested an extra pillow each via the website and when we arrived in our room the same day we had 2 more pillows. There is a lot around the hotel like a shopping centre which is less than a 5-minute walk and the town is only a 15 minute walk with nice restaurants and bars. The heated pool was amazing. The entertainment team always had activities to do in the pool like water aerobics, foam parties and a water carpet.
Negatives: The overall cleanliness was not up to a 4-star rating. The bedding did not get changed the whole time we were there. We did get fresh towels every day, but we had multiple towels that had holes or someone’s makeup on. Some areas needed a good clean for example there was dust in the corners of the room and marks on the walls. The hotel could do with an updated look as it has aged. One person in our party had a broken shower, but the staff did fix this very quickly. The room key cards did not work a few times so had to keep going to reception to fix this.
Overall I do not believe the hotel should be classed as a 4 star, for the amount of money we paid it felt like we were overcharged for what was more like a 3 star all inclusive.
