This apartment complex enjoys a peaceful location surrounded by tropical gardens, just 500 metres from Corralejo Beach. 500 m away, guests will find Baku Water Park, the village centre, the traditional market and 2 shopping centres. The spectacular sand dunes can be found within 2 km, as well as a ferry port, from which ferries depart for Lobos and Lanzarote. This hotel is ideal for couples, groups and families.

Lovely holiday
Just got back after a lovely 2 weeks. The rooms are basic but very large loads of space . The pool isn’t the biggest but is adequate enough but they don’t allow inflatables, there’s plenty of sunbeds a lovely pool bar that is reasonably priced .
Great location within walking distance to main strip and to the beach.
The cleaners were lovely and thorough came in every other day , changed towels and bedding once a week.
The rooms have no air con but you can purchase fans from reception think there £12 for the week .
Cockroach problem isn’t an issue we only saw a couple and we were in a downstairs apartment.
On arrival you have to pay a £150 deposit and in return they give you a kettle and tv remote. If you have an early pick up on your return journey and you’ve paid your deposit in euro you have to go to reception the night before after 6pm to collect it and return kettle and remote and there’s a post box on gate where to put your apartment key , the reception desk doesn’t open till 8am .

Large family holiday
Just finished 2 weeks here and can't fault it. Rooms are spacious and equipped with what you need . Pool is lovely (salt water) and pool bar food and drinks very good.BE AWARE no inflatables etc are allowed. As with any holiday you have the sun bed joggers but never really a problem . Washing machine and dryer are 4 euro each and located down the steps then down the right ramp from reception. ( rooms do having a large drying rack ). Saw a couple of cockraches nothing major. Would suggest if going when temps are high bug spray or bracelets and bite cream, as you dont even see the little insects/ fliest but they pack a punch. Great holiday plenty of places to eat and shop few minutes either way to supermarkets etc. Our 3rd visit to fuerteventura and always great.
Grand Kids Loved It
Great time away. Came here last year as a Couple this year brought Grand Children Boys 7&9. Mentioned last year a Cheap & Cheerful place. Well Situated for Shops, Restaurants & Beach. Staff in Cafe work tirelessly and Poolside. No trouble getting beds and Food was really well presented. Boys loved the Pancakes, Nutella & Fruit. The negative or honest feedback is €150 deposit required on arrival. Can’t get my head around that? You do get it back last day depending on flight time. What if you have budgeted for each day and you can’t give the €150? If it’s just in case there is damage to room well that’s fair enough but the rooms are very dated so damage would not be that obvious to be honest. Paying for Safety Deposit Box €12 is understandable but add that to the cost of holiday when paying for it and having to pay for Kettle, Remote Control for Television is not really fair although we did not use either but if used would have to pay. Would recommend if you wanted a Competitively Priced Holiday.
Pleasant stay
We stayed here for 11 nights. The apartments are traditional and basic. The bed was comfortable although I think they should do away with the sofa bed in the living room and make it a proper second bedroom as it a family suite we had booked.
We knew we would be requested to pay a 150€ deposit on arrival as we booked with Jet2Holidays and it said at time of booking, it was no issue as we got it back when we checked out.
The apartment was well maintained and cleaned everyday expect a Sunday. We did have to request a towel change as they weren’t changed the first week but after speaking to the receptionist it was done right away.
We hired two fans as there is no air conditioning. It was 2€ per day for each fan to hire and we left all the windows and doors open at night as we were in an upstairs apartment.
The pool area is pretty chill and you can get sun loungers anytime throughout the day. No need to be down reserving them. If you do reserve them you are only given 15 mins to return and they will remove your towels. The cafe bar at the pool is good, it serves lovely food and drinks until 5pm.
The Maxorata is next to everything the resort has to offer. Only a few minutes walk to the beach including popcorn beach,shops and bars and everything else Corralejo has to offer. We went on the ferry to Lanzarote for the day which was really good.
We only used our apartment to sleep, shower and get changed in. We had breakfast on the balcony a few times which was nice. We ate out every night so we weren’t using the apartment to cook in. We had no issues with cockroaches.
We had a really pleasant stay.

The location
Maxorata has a very Nice location and everything u need. The interior is a bit outdated but overall very decent hotel
