Cotillo Beach

Great location very handy for supermarkets, restaurants and beach Room was lovely and clean and good size with nice bathroom and shower, had an issue one night with water pressure but didn’t last long. Had a small fridge which was handy for bottled water and couple of cans. There was a coffee machine with a few pods and sugar but we used it for hot water for tea 🫖 No noise to worry about, may be nice to have an inner door as you could hear people in the corridor as the door did have a few gaps but definitely not a concern. We did have a couple of issues with the key cards and safe card but was rectified promptly my reception and maintenance. Pool was a good size and water was a good temperature but was a bit tired, few missing tiles etc and had a life guard on duty. Good choice of sunbeds with shades but some people were saving beds which was a shame but we were able to get beds each day. We were B&B and choice of breakfast was very good and tasty. We thought it was a good deal for the week with local flights from Bournemouth and staff were friendly. Would go back to hotel and been to El Cotillo loads of time!

This was another great trip to Coral Cotillo Beach, my second this year.

The manager and all of her fantastic team ( the cleaners, the reception staff, the restaurant staff and the maintenance crew) deserve top marks for their dedication to the customer experience. The Coral Beach is truly "Happiness In The Sun". Over the last five years the rooms and bathrooms have been updated. I personally think removing the baths from the rooms would be great idea, having a walk in shower instead is far safer for some patrons and easier for the cleaners to clean too !

To be clear this is a review solely for our experience at the solar bar which is part of the cotillo beach hotel. We have never in our years had such poor service. We visited this year in January march June and now September and each time the service is the same sadly. The servers,usually two guys one named Alessandro especially rude and unhelpful - decided when he wanted to serve cocktails apparently when busy he decides no more cocktails and then was extremely rude when questioned about this...but obviously there is no sign to say this! When asked for a coffee, was told no milk ( after ordering) this is just not possible when you are hotel that serves breakfast lunch & dinner! One night told the coffee machine doesn't work, again put a cover over this to indicate this. I just don't belive it ,it was pure laziness in my opinion. Each day the bill for each round was different to, we are cash payers so are dubious to the consistency of this too. We absolutely love El Cotillo as it really is our favourite place to visit hence the multiple visits each year and it is just a shame that this hotel has the only bar in the vicinity that bar that is open later and it really is bloody awful!
