Good value for money good food, staff keep the hotel really clean, entertainers are very fun and positive
Hotel is very clean and staff are friendly and helpful. Room is cleaned every day with fresh towels and bedding. Cannot fault the cleanliness. We had a few issues with our room but staff were quick to resolve the issues with the maintenance men. Entertainment team are fab! Restaurant/Food- very samey. Sometimes some of the food was cold and flies were landing on it. Chinese restaurant that’s attached to hotel is good and if you have a pool side view room, you can go and eat free in the Chinese for 1 night only. Massive downfall- no air con. If you have a pool view room you get an air con machine. If you don’t, you have to pay to rent one which I don’t understand why? Luckily we was pool view. You have to stick the tube running from machine outside, so our door was always open at night time. Not good if you are ground floor. The pool side bar, is ok but it can tend to smell. There is a snack bar there too but that is also the same food everyday. Sunbeds- well unless you want to get up early everyday to get a bed, you won’t get one. There is not enough beds for the amount of people staying. We ended up going around the back by the children’s pool to get a bed. Overall, it’s not the worst hotel, but it does have lots of potential to be a really good one. Would I stay there again? No, air con and the heat in the bedroom was a massive issue. I’ve never stayed in a hotel without it, so for future reference now I shall be checking when booking holidays. Also the hotel is not anywhere near the beach, a 40 min walk but there are taxis and a free bus available every hour. Aldi is next door and a few shops around corner. But it is out the way of everything which we struggled with.
Overall, our stay was okay. The staff were very friendly, helpful and hardworking, which we really appreciated. However, there were a few things that could be improved. It was quite noisy, usually until around 11 PM. The food could have been better seasoned, although overall it was fine. Unfortunately, the drinks and cocktails were far too sweet for our taste.
The biggest issue was the air conditioning, which struggled with temperatures above 30°C. We even had to clean the filter ourselves to make it work better. The fridge also randomly beeped during the night despite being properly closed. The balcony floor could have been cleaned more often.
For a 3 star it’s okay. The only problem is the aircon and the food seems to be the same every night. The beach is about 10 minutes away from the hotel. The hotel is brilliant for family’s and the entertainment is very family friendly. Cocktails taste like washing up liquid and it’s every man for himself regards to the sunbeds. White night is absolutely brilliant. And so is the lion king show. Right next to the hotel is a Chinese and a tattoo shop. And the love and hate bar which is brilliant.
We stay here for 10 night as our family holiday, and normally we wouldnt write a review but we wanted to make others aware of this hotel. Firstly the food is basic, but in an all inclusive we didn’t expect any more. The pool is very busy for the amount of guest they have, ideally another pool would be perfect. Do watch out for the sun bed wars, as usual you have to fight for a sun bed that opens at 8:30. You room clearly states that you are not allowed to reserve sun beds and how your towel will be removed but we never see this) entertainment team are lovely and include everyone however the itinerary was very poor and not well planned. Very hard for families to enjoy when nothing really started until 9pm, again sadly it was fight for your table in the evening. If you ate your dinner late, chances are you was not sitting in the area for entertainment. Rooms are clean, fresh towels daily and supplies with small bottles of water in your room. All around was a lovely experience until are last day, check out is at 12.00 and we was not collect by our transfer until 19:30 we thought we would be able to have our tea before we left but no this was not allowed and you are not informed of this matter on your check out so please be aware. Also be careful of the lift, it’s states a max of 6 people however my family for four 2 adults and 2 young children got stuck twice for 20 mins at a time so please be careful
