3rd day review, very enjoyable stay so far :)

We had a fantastic family holiday here with our 7-year-old child. The hotel has a quiet, vibrant atmosphere and really suited our needs as a family. It is particularly appealing if you’re looking for somewhere peaceful, where guests are respectful of others and you can actually relax and enjoy your holiday.

The all-inclusive drinks package offers a good selection, including Tropical on tap, bottled water and soft drinks from bottles ( individual) There is also a selection of local spirits, served with the usual measures.

The all-inclusive food package was also very good. Breakfast, lunch and evening meals are buffet style, with a good-quality selection of food. In our experience, the food was better than what we have experienced at some other 3- and 4-star hotels.

The swimming pool is relatively small, but there is enough space for everyone to enjoy themselves. It has a much calmer atmosphere and isn’t really suited to large, noisy groups or lots of inflatables taking over the pool. For families looking for a quieter pool, it is excellent. I would particularly recommend it for families with children who may be anxious around swimming pools or who have additional learning needs, as the calmer environment can make a real difference.

Our room was clean, spacious and easily large enough for a family of three. Rooms are maintained every day if you want them serviced, and we were very happy with the standard of cleanliness.

The well-being and naturist area was also a pleasant experience for those looking for something a little extra during their stay. It provides an alternative space for guests who want to relax and enjoy a different side of the hotel.

The staff were generally friendly and did their best to accommodate everyone’s requests. We did encounter one or two members of staff who seemed a little unfriendly, but we felt this was probably down to how busy they were and the pressure they were under trying to look after so many guests.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. It is a great choice for families who want a relaxed, friendly and respectful atmosphere rather than a loud party-style holiday. We would happily return.

Genuine day 1 review

Morning of day 1,

Breakfast, plenty of selection for adults and children.

Pool bar doesn’t open until 11am.

Can’t get any sunbeds until 8.45am.

Do not come if you have children.

Apparently they are all about safety here. No ball games of any type in the big pool.

Sorry just found out you can play with balls and bats in the small infants pool, sounds safe 🤔

No diving, completely agree but no jumping into the pool that’s 1.9m deep is a bit far fetched.

Pool bar, can’t go to it wet. This is also the only smoking area if you need to.

Darts, about 6 people played. No atmosphere, trust me I tried to bring some. You have to throw from half way across the resort 🤣

Entertainment - one lad, he tries but I’ve seen more enthusiasm in the slippery floor signs all around the pool.

Had countless issues with the lifeguard and it’s only 1pm 🙈. He even called the manager after we stopped everything we had already got told we can’t do. Apparently there is another lifeguard who is even worse! Many holiday makers have come up to us after seeing our discussions with the lifeguard and manager saying how poor the fun factor is here.

Bar staff rude

Pool guys rude

Almost feel targeted because of our nationality.

Remember to take your room key every time you go to the bar for them to scan at the till. Wrist bands aren’t a thing here, not even for all inclusive.

Genuinely considering our options of changing hotel so the kids can actually have some fun.

TripAdvisor Review
Hideous hotel.

I’m actually shocked at how many good reviews this hotel has. We are a party of 9 and it has not met the standards we were expecting for the reviews we have read. At most this is a 3* hotel. The rooms are incredibly dated and not cleaned well at all. They are dark and feel like you’re stepping back into the 80s. The bathrooms are tiled but half the tiles are chipped so beware of porcelain chippings when showering.

If you don’t like cockroaches, book somewhere else to stay. 2 different rooms and there were cockroaches coming up through the drains in the showers.

Water is not restocked in your room and they seem to have an issue with providing water when you ask for it.

If you are located on the 1st floor. Good luck, the smell of sewage is absolutely insane. With one of the rooms, through the ceiling was an insane leak which we reported, they sent a cleaner up with a mop and bucket which they thought would solve the problem. After having a staff member actually look at the leak. They decided to move us due to the severity.

The pool is tiny considering the size of the hotel, if you have children, be prepared for them to have zero fun. No jumping in, no splashing, no floaties, no swimming balls. Nothing. It is not child friendly at all. There are very limited sunbathing areas and reserving sunbeds is a thing here. There is no rule to stop this happening. We watched an Unattended sun bed left for 4 hours! It’s a joke. There is the typical mad rush and free for all in the mornings for the sunbeds. The kids club is basic and dark, it’s in the basement of the hotel and they have a measly play area with a very rickety slide and seesaw. The only semi positive for the kids is a shuffleboard area, ping pong and pool table, of which you have to pay for the pool table and the foosball machine is very hit and miss if it works.

The location is about a 10 minute walk to a very crowded beach if you going in peak time (July to late August) where you have to pay for sunbeds.

On the positive, the food is edible and the staff are genuinely lovely people especially Nabil and Marcos, exceptional service from these waiters!

The buffet area is quite frantic and small the same as the seating area to eat but there doesn’t seem to be too much of an issue finding seating as a larger group I’m not to sure for smaller (families of 2-4). The pool bar only seems to do cold food (cheese sandwiches etc)

There are no Al a cartè’s here either.

I’m not one to leave reviews but I think this genuinely warranted one. It as absolutely not as advertised.

Queues/sunbed wars/footwear

We arrived two days ago

Hotel is very clean and the staff are brilliant and work so hard but there isn't enough staff and the staff are all under so much pressure and still have big smiles on their faces.

Queues at the pool bar.

Everytime you go to the pool bar,you have a queue of more than 5 people in front of you.

No self serve drinks at the hotel apart from breakfast with fruit juices.

Sunbeds are a nightmare and not enough for the guests staying at the hotel, you have to queue an hour before to get one by the family area so you can be close to the children's pool, witnessed guests arguing over sunbeds yesterday and a manager had to come over and resolve the sunbed arguing between guests.

Families are putting towels down on sunbeds and leaving them all day.I witnessed 6 sunbeds yesterday that were left at half 1 and the family returned at half 6 to get the towels.

We informed the lifeguard no one has been back for over 3 hours as I could see people walking round trying to find a free sunbed as it was busy,he told us to report it to reception.

The pool is small enough to be monitored.

The food is great in the restaurant and the dining area is lovely inside with the pink and green decor.

Animation Team-Only 1 man on his own doing aqua in the pool each day and we played bingo last night,The lad is great but at Bingo he didn't have enough pens so we all had to share pens to play.

We got told tonight by Sandra who greeted us in to dinner that men can't wear sandals in the restaurant,my husband has only brought sandals and everyone else in the restaurant is wearing sandals so my husband pointed everyone out. Sandra was nice about this but in 2026 most people so wear sandals.

So women/children can wear sandals but not men! What's the difference?

We are going to make the most of the hotel but everyone we have spoken to have said the same issues as us.

Queues for drinks/sunbed wars/footwear.

We wouldn't recommend the hotel and we still have a week left until we go home and already not a great experience.

Brilliant hotel

We've just returned from a week here and can safely say we had a wonderful holiday. We'd happily return.

Overall, the service at the hotel is outstanding and noticeably better than we've come to expect from Spanish all-inclusive hotels. We arrived at around 10:30pm after dinner had finished, but the hotel had thoughtfully prepared a cold meal and left it in our room along with fresh drinks. It was a small gesture that made a great first impression.

Our room was on the seventh floor overlooking the pool. Despite being on a high floor, we never had any issues waiting for the lifts. The room was spacious and well equipped, with a separate dressing area, a comfortable bed, an excellent shower and a balcony with a lovely view. We'd read reviews describing the décor as tired, but that wasn't our experience at all. The rooms are simply decorated in a traditional Moorish style rather than a modern one. Everything was well maintained and we didn't notice any damaged furniture or cracked tiles. The dressing gowns and slippers were another nice touch.

Housekeeping was excellent throughout the week. The room attendants were friendly, cleaned the room every day to a high standard and replaced towels whenever requested.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all served buffet style and the food was one of the highlights of our stay. There is a carvery, live grill stations and a different daily theme, along with plenty of salads, sides and desserts, so it never felt repetitive. It's one of the few all-inclusive holidays where we've genuinely enjoyed the food all week and never felt fed up with it. There are indoor and outdoor seating areas, although most people queue for the outdoor terrace. We only discovered a few days into our stay that you can usually walk straight into the indoor restaurant without waiting, which isn't made particularly clear.

Drinks are served at your table during meals, although getting a second drink can sometimes be difficult. The restaurant also has a dress code, but this seemed to be applied inconsistently. We were stopped for wearing Crocs with smart shorts and a shirt, while others were dining in flip-flops, sliders and even swimwear. Management resolved the issue quickly, but it does make the dress code feel rather pointless if it isn't enforced consistently.

The all-inclusive drinks package runs from 11am until 11pm, creating a slightly odd period between breakfast finishing and 11am when it's difficult to get a drink. During the day, drinks are only available from the Pool Bar (apart from those served with meals), before the Salon Bar opens in the evening. At busy times there simply aren't enough staff at the Pool Bar, resulting in some fairly long queues.

That said, the quality of the drinks is excellent. The local draft beer is very good, cocktails are freshly prepared rather than pre-mixed and soft drinks are served in bottles. The Pool Bar also serves waffles, cakes and, I believe, sandwiches, although this wasn't particularly well advertised.

The pool itself is quite small for a hotel of this size and the biggest issue is the number of sun loungers. There simply aren't enough for everyone, meaning guests are up early reserving them. Although staff are supposed to remove towels from unattended loungers, this wasn't enforced during our stay, so many beds remained reserved but unused for hours at a time.

There is a lifeguard on duty, but they seemed more focused on stopping children from splashing or playing than supervising the pool. Children are largely restricted to a small paddling pool attached to the main pool, giving the impression they are expected to be seen rather than heard. I wouldn't describe the hotel as adults only, but equally I wouldn't call it particularly family-friendly. If you're travelling with young children, there are probably better options nearby that cater more towards families. There is a kids' club, although it appears to be aimed mainly at younger children and is staffed by only one team member.

Daytime entertainment mainly consists of activities such as boccia, shuffleboard and darts. It was enjoyable enough, but with only one member of the animation team running activities at any one time, it lacked a little atmosphere.

Evening entertainment usually consisted of a singer by the Pool Bar and a separate show or act in the Salon Bar. The acts we watched were generally very good, but both venues are relatively small and there simply aren't enough seats for the number of guests staying at the hotel.

Finally, the location is excellent. The front entrance is only a 5-10 minute walk from the Yumbo Centre, while the rear entrance provides a similarly short walk to the beach, making it an ideal base for exploring the area.

Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Id definitely stay here again but think it would be better as a couples break
