- TUI BLUE Suite Princess Adults Only

This extensive hotel complex boasts a stunning mountainside setting, on the island of Gran Canaria. Surrounded by the beauty and splendour of the Taurito Valley, this complex is sure to complex. The beach is situated just a short distance away. The charming town of Puerto de Mogan can be found just 4 km from the hotel. This hotel comprises beautifully-designed guest rooms, which respect the serenity of the area, with refreshing tones and a tranquil ambiance. The complex features wonderful restaurants, as well as a number of bars, cafes and shops. A nightclub is also available on site. Guests are invited to enjoy the many leisure facilities that the complex has to offer.
Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
Positives and negatives. Firstly the location is a little challenging if you have mobility issues there are steps and ramp to exit the hotel to the small beach and town, but only if mobile. Inside the hotel everything is accessible and really good if you have mobility issues. There are a few shops in the hotel at comparable prices to the shops outside. The bus stop is about 8mins walk along a straight road. The views from the hotel are stunning and all rooms have sea view. The rooms are large and have some upgrades needed but are clean and have a fridge, TV lots of space and sunbeds on balcony. The air-conditioning in the rooms is not great with some being too hot. Reported it to the hotel they tried but it's old and in need of upgrade so cannot be fixed to the right standard. The rooms are quiet and you do not hear other guests. Blackout curtains are great as well. Cleaners come daily. The pool area is lovely and the no reserving sunbeds is welcome. The entertainment team from TUI are great and you can enjoy evening entertainment as well. Unfortunately the piano bar was too hot to sit in. I felt sorry for the singer. No fans or air con in August! The food was good and we all managed to find something we enjoyed. Unfortunately the dining room was not air-conditioned so a few of my family could not manage eating in there every night. We ate outside at lunch which is ironically cooler than the inside restaurant for evening meal under shade with a breeze. Other people got by with table fans at their evening meal. The hotel really needs to sort this out for July and August. We took the hotel provided free bus to Puerto Mogan which is a nice touch. Overall we loved the food, room decor and size, entertainment, pool but could not deal with the hot rooms and hot dining room and piano bar. If this is sorted we could return or perhaps in November. It is such a shame because apart from air con it was lovely. I appreciate it is August but all hotels I have worked in or stayed at have air conditioning on in common areas at the hottest time of the year it's not unreasonable for a 4 star hotel to provide this.
Fantastic views not far by bus to mogan and Puerto Rico Relaxed atmosphere rooms are great
Just about to head to airport after 2 amazing weeks. Food and rooms brilliant. What really made the holiday was the entertainment staff. Simon, Nela, Me, Sean and Sophia. Always happy and really made our days and evenings special. We loved seeing Stacey join Simone for one night only! Everything was easy to find and staff helped us by using and keeping the app updated. Amazing memories made. Thank you. Sad to be going home.
If you are looking for a peaceful rest this is the resort. All adults (although there is a water park opposite so can hear from that but not excessive at all) lovely helpful staff clean nice pool area plenty of beds lots of food choice something for everyone. Didnt go the markets etc so can't comment on the bus service etc. Did take a taxi out and they a little pricey but costal roads not the easiest to drive around so ok given that. Beach right at side of hotel nice and clean with a few shops and eating places. Beds on beach only 3.50 euro a day. All in all its as described...not a party hard kind of holiday more a chill out and relax holiday.
Location was good, though I obviously did not see before booking that the beach is a public beach and all sun beds come with a fee and when booking an adults only hotel I expected peaceful surrounding, however there is a waterpark and family hotel next door so quite alot of noise from that side at certain times of the day. We had the junior suite which was basic, clean and had everything we needed, beds were really comfy. The rule about not leaving towels on Sun loungers before 10am is a good idea, however I did notice the same people on the same sunbeds daily, we noticed a few times family members holding 4 beds while each of them took turns to go for breakfast.... The food I thought was fantastic, not enough staff but those that were there were friendly and helpful.
The Main Restaurant was extremely hot, it was a very uncomfortable experience, we just ate and left straight away skipping pudding most evenings as we did not want to be in there for any length of time. I could see alot of people around us felt the same and an older couple we spoke to the man nearly fainted it was so warm in there. Both evening bars were the same so options were to sit outside in a bit of a breeze or go back to the room. There was a heatwave whilst we were there, however I have stayed in hotter countries who manage keep communal areas cool, I think money needs putting into the whole hotels air conditioning system.
