🌴 My 6-Day Stay at Hotel Beatriz Costa & Spa 🇪🇸❤️
I stayed at Hotel Beatriz Costa & Spa for 6 days, and I can honestly say that I truly enjoyed my time here. We had a very pleasant, relaxing and enjoyable holiday.
Before arriving, I had seen some negative reviews on different forums and social media, which honestly made me a little worried. However, after staying here, I can say that our experience was completely different. Everything was clean, comfortable and well organised, and I did not come across a single rude member of staff. Everyone we met was friendly, helpful and welcoming. ❤️
🛏️ Rooms & Housekeeping
The rooms are spacious, clean and functional, with nice bathrooms. Housekeeping services the rooms daily, including making the beds, tidying up and replenishing bathroom amenities.
Fresh towels are provided according to the hotel's towel policy — towels left on the bathroom floor are replaced, while towels hanging up are considered to still be in use. The bathroom has a card explaining the policy.
Tissues, soap and shower gel are replenished according to usage, and additional supplies can be requested from reception or housekeeping.
The air conditioning worked perfectly, and our room also had a kettle and refrigerator.
🍽️ Food & Drinks
Breakfast: 8:00 am – 10:15 am There is a good selection of continental breakfast items, with a coffee machine, hot milk and juices.
Lunch: 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm A good selection of food with four types of wine, draft beer, juice, soft drinks, water and coffee.
Dinner: 6:30 pm – 9:15 pm A good variety of meals with the same selection of drinks.
There isn't an enormous choice of food, but what is provided is good quality and freshly prepared. Fish and meat are cooked on site each day.
🍹 Bars & Entertainment
The entertainment was enjoyable, and the bars offer standard all-inclusive local alcoholic drinks. There is a coffee machine and cocktails are available from the cocktail machine.
The staff were always friendly and happy to help whenever possible. There is a limit of two drinks per person at one time, but you can simply return for more.
Bottled water is not provided in the rooms, but there are water dispensers at the bars and buffet area. You can refill your own bottle or use the paper cups provided. A 500 ml bottle can also be purchased for €2 and reused.
At the outdoor pool bar, there is a €1 cup deposit, which is returned when the cup is brought back. Alternatively, you can exchange your used cup for a clean one when getting another drink. Snacks are also available at the pool bar.
🏖️ Pool & Beach
Pool towels are provided free of charge. Reception records your card details, but there is no charge as long as the towel is returned. Changing a pool towel during your stay costs €2.
The beach is around a 20-minute walk from the hotel, with a Spar supermarket and various shops along the way.
The hotel also provides a complimentary shuttle to the beach at 10:15 am, 12:15 pm and 4:15 pm, with return services at approximately 12:30 pm, 4:30 pm and 5:30 pm. The minibus journey is only around three minutes. The air conditioning on the minibus was not working during our stay, but it is only a very short journey.
✈️ Check-in & Check-out
Check-in is from 3:00 pm and check-out is at 12:00 pm.
If you have an early departure, you can request a packed breakfast from reception before 8:00 pm the previous evening.
⛪ Sunday Service
One particularly lovely feature was the Sunday service at 11:00 am, organised by local English residents. It lasts around an hour and was a very welcoming experience.
❤️ Final Thoughts
Overall, I found this to be a lovely, clean and comfortable hotel in a pleasant location.
Like any hotel, there are some rules and practical arrangements to follow, but if you understand and follow them, I believe you can have a very enjoyable stay.
Our experience was very positive, and the negative reviews I had read before coming did not reflect our experience at all.
I would happily return to Hotel Beatriz Costa & Spa in the future. We truly enjoyed our stay and felt welcomed by the lovely staff.

A good holiday, and stay in tiguise.
Stayed here for a week in September with my 8month old and family. Cannot fault the hotel . Altho abit dated it was still enjoyable. Rooms were massive. And had aircon which was a bonus. The pool area was very well maintained. Rest of the hotel is ageing. Location is abit far from the main beach but a taxi is easy enough to get.
Not the best
Been here a week and honestly not the best stay at a hotel. Staff all lovely and friendly arrived late and was greeted with a friendly receptionist who made check in a breeze missed dinner but was given 2 picnic bags and was honestly the best meal of the stay.
Hotel is huge we stayed on the 6th flood assuming in one of the newer rooms. 3 elevators available to use but take forever one has been broken since we arrived and not fixed.
Food is awfuI everything bland and tasteless and always just warm. I am not a fussy eater but food is really poor we have ate out every night. Pool area is huge and never had an issue with getting a decent bed, granted we came in the office season. Only one pool bar and get quite busy. Cocktails are from machine and do not taste good. Bar can get busy god knows what it's like during peak season, wine, water coffee all self service Can't understand why a hotel of this size only has one restaurant and one pool bar.
Cleanliness of the hotel is also an issue. Theres glasses from the night before all over the hotel that always seem to be there the whole day. Also had housekeeping knock on the door at 8am one day to clean the room hadn't even went for breakfast yet.
Hotel quite out the way but there's a small selection of bars and restaurants about 15 mins away. Hotel can call a taxi to the main square which is about 5 euros each way.
All in all not been the best stay in terms of amenities pool is fabulous and the weather has been glorious.

I came to this hotel on the 23rd September for a week as I leave on the 30th of September. I'm in room 245 and I want to thank every member of staff from reception . They absolutely fantastic also the bar star who work so hard ut always greet you with a smile no matter what time it is. The cleaners do an amazing job and keep this hotel nice and clean. The food is fantastic and always found something to eat. Restaurant staff were great nothing was a problem. 💯💯💯 I seen some bad reviews but honestly I don't no why. Pool is brilliant and always sunbeds for you but you can't get a sunded till 930 as that's a great idea. Don't worry about this hotel at all you will have a ball. A special shout out to the management be they are doing an amazing job behind the scenes 💯💯💯 yes will be back to hotel 💯💯💯

We had a Brill stay, rooms very clean, bath/shower very good hairdryer in bathroom was really good, towels changed daily, food was really nice breakfast was our favourite with plenty of choice, the pools are Amazing my favourite from many holidays we have been on, pool bar snacks also available and the dribks/cocktails were great, although the hotel is a little dated in some areas it is a beautiful place with very friendly /helpful staff (if you need a taxi into the centre, they will arrange it for you) very enjoyable stay would return.
