The capital is around 1.5 km away and can be easily reached by car.The hotel is perfect for families with children who love spending time at the pool. Lanzarote airport is just 10 km away.

Nice room cleaned every day pool nice entertainment staff are good lady who worked in pool bar was lovely worked hard all day.hotel is quite out of the way of everything but we walked to square a few times about 40 minutes away and had lovely food .hotel food is not nice lukewarm and very salty not much variety fish nearly ever day wouldn’t stay here again
Nice but spare change needed
The hotel is clean and spacious. We had a junior suite which had two televisions however only one connected to the satellite. The bathroom did not have ventilation at all which made it stuffy but otherwise the room was lovely and a fridge was provided for keeping things cool. The food is cooked well and dependable with enough variation for fussy eaters and multiple drink options thoughout, self serve which is nice There is a mini mart on site with all the essentials or things that may have been forgotten with friendly staff You will have to do a lot of exploring on your own as things are not well signposted and we didnt find the games area until our last evening There are a few resident cats that mill about and are pleasant, avoiding contact for those who do not engage with them
The main issue around the pool was that there was no set up for sunbeds which meant at 10am when they were unlocked people would pull their beds right to the edge of the pool, blocking most of the entrances and exits. Towels can be rented from reception for the duration of your stay for €10 cash each and is refunded upon returning Cups from pool bar are €1 each cash only and refunded on return. You can have as many as you'd like. It's worth getting two or more each as the bar queue is long (15-20 minutes) with usually one member of staff doing the bar and setting up snacks for the afternoon. The snacks are mostly selve serve toasties or chips so all inclusive lunch is worth visiting for a top up
There is a nice walk along the seafront nearby that you can follow to the more touristy part with souvenirs and restaurants and bars, approx 20 minute walk
Not worth the 4 stars
I wouldn’t rate it 4 stars. It was okay if you wanted to use the room as a base and go exploring, however myself and my partner didn’t really leave the room.
You couldn’t get a sunbed, there was people sat outside with the sunbeds, but there would be spare ones but they’d have their belongings on them. The food was below average, nothing for people who are picky, ended up ordering food. The location was good. I think the star of the show was our room.
The bath however took forever to fill!

Had a lovely few days. I wouldn't say its a 4 star hotel as its looking very tired. The room was really good apart from the door onto the balcony it had a very weak lock. The wheel came off the bed lol. Hate that you had to pay extra for the safe in your room! Pool very small and mostly shallow. Sunbeds locked up until 10am but people still put towels down where they wanted their bed. Also no umbrellas or shade if any kind which made it very uncomfortable in midday sun. Food was repetitive and ended up eating out in the evenings. Would not go back.

Bluesea costa bastian 3 stars overall
Unfortunately we were unable to get a sunbed around the pool for the entire week we were there, food was below average and often cold however the drinks were ok for the price you pay and the rooms are clean and looked after, within the rooms there is also an oven and stove too so you can cook your own food which is good. We stayed during the world cup and the football was shown in a small side room which was good. Overall, we had a good stay, but I would not stay again
