Nautilus Lanzarote is a 4 Star Tourist Apartment Complex located in Matagorda, Puerto del Carmen, just five minutes from the sea, and 10 minutes by car from the airport. The Nautilus Lanzarote complex boasts two beautiful heated pools (one especially for children), an attractive garden area which counts with a mini golf, and 70 one and two-bedroomed apartments, 47 of which are adapted for wheelchair users. Most one bedroom adapted apartments are in the garden area of the complex, accessible by a sloped ramp with handrail. Our modern, light apartments each have their own furnished terrace with chairs, table, parasol and sun beds and an internal patio with a drying area. Within five minutes' walk you will reach: • The nearest beach, awarded with a Blue Flag. • The promenade – the longest in Europe - which stretches for kilometres and from where you can walk into the capital Arrecife (about 8 km) or into the Old Town of Puerto del Carmen (about 6 km). • A Shopping Centre featuring lots of restaurants, bars and souvenir shops.
Nice spacious apartments that were cleaned every day , cleaners were great and very pleasant . However no air conditioning in August as standard is ridiculous and we would not have booked this accommodation had we known - we did not sleep at all due to heat . We found out on our last day from another guest that we could have hired a remote control air conditioning system for 8.50 euro a day however this was never explained to us in check in , nor was it explained about the safe or breakfast , we had no idea about breakfast room until 3 days in ! Majority of staff were lovely , but the older lady on reception with glasses was quite rude and dismissive when I asked her a sole question re taxis , to the point I avoided going to the reception desk for the rest of our holiday if she was behind it . Not sure I’d return, but little things could make a big difference here .
Just returned from our 23rd stay at Nautilus, a very quiet location but close to all bars and restaurants, nice clean rooms with your own sunbeds on the private patio. Very nice welcoming cleaners as are all the staff apart from one older female receptionist who is very rude, 23 times I’ve walked into reception on arrival sometimes after an arduous journey pushing a wheelchair carrying bags and not once has she greeted us with “welcome” or “pleasant journey?” just an abrupt “yes?”!! similarly on departure never a “hope you had a nice stay “ in fact this time when returning keys and air conditioning remote control reception was empty so I pressed the bell on the desk for attention and she immediately appeared verbally abusing me for pressing the bell!! Nautilus really ought to send this employee on a retraining programme!!
Accomodqtion is vgood but the service and hospitality needs a serious review. The ladies behind reception desk were rude and un pleasant. Staff are not helpful. They mostly ignore you.we had touble getting a taxi from here also and missed our dinner reservation. Receptionist was most unpleasant and rude.
The facilities were nice enoufht but the breakfast was cheap and clearly microwaved. They were also hostile in the reception and left us waiting 75+ minutes on a taxi that never came
The apartments were quiet when we visited in late June. The perfect place to relax & recharge our batteries. We arrived at lunchtime to find out that our apartments were ready instead of the usual 4pm check-in time - bonus!!
Very friendly staff. The apartments were cleaned every day except the last one, which was not an issue for us.
We paid extra for apartments with air conditioning, which was a blessing as the temperature was 30 degrees plus most days. The bedrooms had roof fans, which were also a blessing at night.
All in all a very enjoyable stay. We will return again.
