We had a lovely holiday in Lanzarote and this hotel! I would like to thank the Chef and the Management for prioritizing the budget for food as the products used are of very good quality and high standards. We travel a lot and can definitely confirm that the meals were fresh, delicious and of all sorts of tastes and variety. The rooms are quite spacious, quiet at night, with beautiful views over the see and pool area. I would also like to thank the youth lady who sang by the pool on Sunday lunch time for making our day and lunch so enjoyable! We would definitely recommend renting a car and driving around the island! Don't miss El Golfo and Legomar - the house of Omar Sheriff. We had a lovely time, hope you enjoy your holiday too!
Went as 4 adults, A tui blue hotel they say its a 2 star should be atleast 3 stars, staff really nice and polite, felt respected, view was amazing especially when sun was setting, apartment was nice and clean abit run down espically the tiles around the showers and fridge was marked and painted over in areas but nothing major or a hazard, some rooms have 2 taps for shower blue side is pressure red side is tempature, we learned that on day 3 after spending ages each day trying to get our right temperature, some rooms only have the 1 pull and turn handle on there showers, view from balcony's were nice and amazing view when sun was setting, only thing was air con lowest was set for 18, I like the cold but after a while you felt the room cooling, air con turns off once the doors opened and manually needs to be put on when door closed, hardly any noise unless somebody is under the window outside talking loudly, inside and outside hotel even the streets was clean if you ever saw anything it was leaves on floor where they had fallen off but we saw staff cleaning the ground and room around pool and animities every morning apart from wednesday and saturdays, loads of parking spaces around the back sode of hotel, (would be classed as front as thats along the road side of building) food was nice only food repetitive was pizza and chips, kids even have there own little section table lowered so they could help themselfs (unless its ice cream depending on the childs height would need an adult to get some) different days were different themes like seafood, Italian, Mexican ect, had a small vegan section which was just as nice as the food from regular section, breakfast had a wide range from cereals to toast, english breakfast and Oriental with fresh hamlets made there and then, they had a Mr whippy ice cream machine, reps were around from 9.00-20.00 in main reception, activities were good, kids clubs, adult pool polo and exercising, games around pool for adults and kids together, you get towels in your room for the pool lounges, you can swap and get clean ones from the lifeguards on a Wednesday and Saturday morning till about 14.00, it 3 minutes walk to beach and 5 minute walk to hotel restaurant and bar, from our apartment, atmosphere was nice, and calming, spa was lovely had full body massage, felt light as a feather afterwards, (doesnt come included had to pay for services) location wasnt bad, if you like walking theres a market on wednesday and Saturday 9.00-14.00, more aimed for those who like crafts which would take about an hour if you didn't go in shops or you could take a taxi for around €6-€8 which would take 10minutes, alot of shops along the way including bars resturants shops, harbor and 2 small beaches, only thing was and its nothing to do with the hotel was when about to go onto the beach there was a man selling big blankets and he wouldn't take no for an answering he would follow you till you gave in or gave him a stern no and told him to go away, Unless you had in already then he left you alone. Little shops where beach is, and a couple of resturant food was nice from all of them, (not part of the hotel) and the tavern which you get 1 free meal there if you are in a all inclusive package and there for a week, (pre book slot using tui blue app) Evening entertainment was held at the bar across from the resurant, opened from 18.30 ends at 23.00, starts with kids entertainment till around 20.30 which switched to quizzes, singing, Magic show once a week, arabatics once a week, sing bingo, dancing, locals came in to single and perform some evenings and an outside area attached to entertainment hall which had a TV for football when on, when ordering drinks like malibu and coke they would give you malibu and you would pour in your own cola, you help yourself to none alcoholic drink they only serve the alcohol, only 1 member of staff who served at the bar when asked for alcohol malibu and coke would literally fill the whole plastic cup (plastic cups are they reuse) with it meaning we would have to get 2-3 cups extra each to make the drink up at first he would do the correct amount they after 3 days gave the whole cup filled and we only went up for like 3 drinks each night we was there. Would go again when its a relaxing holiday.
Well what a beautiful place this is but had a few down points to it, more later. We arrived at lunch time and had to wait hour and a half for our room to be done. Had lunch and eventually got into the room which was lovely. The staff were amazing and happy to help with any issues along the way. But once reported was sorted the same day. The dining room was great with multiple variations of food but when it was busy don’t sit under a vent or you will get wet of it as it drips with condensation or air con build up not sure which. Be careful when it comes down to meat as for a few days it wasn’t cooked all way through. I had a steak that was still mooing!! Bleeding and red as only outside was cooked. Also had chicken leg and again pink straight away only skin cooked and the same with pork loin. Other than that the food was great. If you like hills and steps this is the hotel for you as there’s plenty to your room down to sea front to the reception etc so you need to be mobile.
well what a lovelly place this was (with one exception, ) more on that later, we arrived late evening, check in was quick and smooth, our allocated room was A56 i say room more like a 1 bedroom flat! kitchen,bedroom,bathroom,2 big sofas, dining table and chairs,a nice touch was as the restaurant was closed there was 2 plates of food placed in our fridge on arrival, our room overlooked the pool and the sea,the food was very good ,im fussy but always found something either in the restaurant of snack bar, the drinks are fine although the pina colada was like dishwater see straight thru the glass (partner not happy), rooms cleaned 5/7 days ,pool/beach towels provided free of charge as was safety dep box, multiple pools so no need for midnight visits to grab loungers, beach, bars restaurants within 5 minute walk (down a slope),now for the exception!! sadly the evening entertainment was shocking ,i understand the early evening for the kids ,but surely after 9pm this should change to some adult entertainment but it just continued along the same lines , lots of shouting, screaming into mics meaning in a venue that echoes you couldnt understand a word that was said ,this was reflected in the lack of people in the venue after 9pm ,we decided to go out and pay for our drinks rather than stay and listen to this constant noise and sadly thats what it was ,this was a great shame as this was our only complaint to what was a fantastic holiday, and despite this would come back again ,
Amazing hotel, would definitely recommend to others
