Unbelievably Management have decided to charge for ice cubes - 2 Ice Cubes 50 Cents. (Not in drinks) My wife got an insect bite when we were down by the pool. Requested a couple of additional Ice cubes in cup while purchasing drinks to help cool the swelling - was informed by the unsympathetic older bar lady that we had to purchase a bag at 3 Euro or that 2 ice cubes were 50 Cents and it was a Maximum 2 Ice Cubes per drink. All it needed was an understanding of the situation and some consideration not instantly escalate the situation. (Very Poor Judgement)

I said why are you charging for ice and tried to explain the reason why they were required. Refused to listen and stormed off to reception I followed and explained the the reason and was informed that Management had introduced the charge ☹️Totally Profiteering and unacceptable.

We have been coming to this hotel for several years and have two holidays each for 2 weeks booked in March and April with the family next year- with this unsavoury episode in mind - We will seriously consider cancelling these on principal. A very unhappy loyal customer. Otherwise, Everything about this hotel is superb, staff, (normally very friendly, thoughtful and considerate) theirs always one through! Rooms are great, food is good, pools are excellent. You obviously get the inconsiderate and people that think they are entitled to put their towels down at 7.30 and not come back for hours, or some cases after lunch when back from the beach.

Just returned after 11 days. Our original room was very far away from Restuarant, Reception, Bar. Unfortunately my husband had injured his leg few days before the holiday, so once we saw this we enquired if possible to be closer to the facilities. Yes they accommodated our request at an "extra cost". It's the first hotel we have been that done a wallet/credit app which you had a set allocation per day and you could use as you liked. The cost if you ate in the hotel was €30 pp for evening buffet, drinks cost seperate and are deducted from your wallet. Overall we found this a good idea. We only ate in the hotel the first couple of days as we did not find the selection the greatest most nights the exact same apart from perhaps couple items from wherever the theme was from. So therefore our credit mostly went against water/ice cream/beers and a hot dog perhaps for lunch. Breakfast seemed a lot of variety on the cold side but a lot of vegetables. Good choice eggs. No sauceages or beans (which I like). There is a good choice of pools depending on what you are looking for plenty beds but still the usual people reserving. Rooms were nice, kept clean but was not too keen on the frosted effect toilet and shower cubicle as could be seen by person sitting in bedroom. Check out 12 so we opted for an extension €35 till 3pm and €10 euros thereafter per hour. You have to request 5pm day before. They do have shower facility for half hour €10 pp. Or as the staff informed us you can shower at the pool!. All this being said we did enjoy and the girl that greeted you at the desk when going for breakfast was always very happy and pleasant.
