Enjoying a peaceful location in the holiday resort of Playa Blanca, this charming and comfortable apartment complex is just 150 metres from the nearby bay and 800 metres from the main beach Playa Flamingo. While enjoying a home-like affordable vacation, guests of the hotel can make use of all the facilities of the neighbouring establishment, including a restaurant, floodlit tennis courts and a SPA centre. After a day at the beach or by the large freshwater pool, vacationers can have a delicious home-cooked dinner prepared in the kitchenette of their apartment, or enjoy a drink in the piano bar with live entertainment.

Just returned from 10 nights at Palmeras Gardens and this was our second visit β and once again, we absolutely loved it! π
The apartments are lovely, clean and well maintained, with daily cleaning which was a real bonus. Anke couldnβt be more helpful and is always so friendly and welcoming.
The location is great, around a 20-minute walk to Flamingo Beach, and there are plenty of lovely walks to explore. We climbed Montana Roja, which was definitely worth doing for the views! We also had a lovely walk down to the lighthouse and discovered a beautiful little food hut along the way. The coffee was amazing βοΈ and the food looked incredible, so weβll definitely be trying that next time!
We absolutely love the Marea Bar β perfect for cocktails and live music in the evening πΉπΆ.
We also visited Luna Italian Restaurant, which was absolutely amazing. The food was fantastic and we would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Playa Blanca.
We also love the Arena Bar, which serves food and drinks throughout the day and even offers poolside service β perfect when youβre relaxing in the sunshine! βοΈπΉ
We spent a lovely day at the Marina too, which was beautiful.
We were also unlucky enough to experience our first Calima while we were there, so it was VERY hot! π₯΅π
One thing we would say if itβs your first time in Playa Blanca β embrace the relaxed way of life! Everything runs at a much slower pace, which is exactly what makes it such a lovely place to unwind. β€οΈ
A little tip: make sure you stock up on water, breakfast bits and anything else you might need for the following morning, as most places donβt open until around 11am. We soon learned! π
The only downside during our stay was the building work at Natura Palace. It certainly didnβt ruin our holiday, but it did mean it wasnβt quite as peaceful as we had hoped. π¬
Overall, another fantastic stay at Palmeras Gardens. We love Playa Blanca, we love the relaxed atmosphere and there is still so much more for us to explore.
Weβd highly recommend Palmeras Gardens and Playa Blanca and will definitely be back for visit number three! ππ
I would just like to make people aware that there is currently a massive refurbishment taking place at the hotel directly across the road. Unfortunately, it is more like being next to a construction site, with constant noise from around 7am until 8pm. This included everything from trucks reversing and beeping to jackhammers pounding away throughout the day. At one point, I actually videoed four workmen using jackhammers at the same time. Sadly, this had a huge impact on our stay and completely ruined what should have been a relaxing two-week holiday. I feel this is something people should be made aware of before booking. The positives The apartment itself was lovely, spacious and comfortable, with air conditioning in both the living room and bedroom. The kitchen area was basic but clean and tidy, with everything we needed apart from an oven, which we already knew about. It was a nice touch that we were provided with a new sponge, cloth and tea towel, as well as washing-up liquid. The bathroom was a good size and had a lovely large walk-in shower. One thing to be aware of is that the hot water tank only holds 30 litres, so you can just about manage two quick showers one after the other before the water runs cold. The bedroom was a decent size with plenty of storage, including a safe. The cleaners were excellent. Our apartment was always clean and tidy, and we regularly had fresh towels. The pool and surrounding area were a good size and very well maintained. There were plenty of sunbeds and umbrellas, and everything was kept clean and tidy. There was also a small pool bar serving a limited selection of food, which was nice. The only disappointment was the opening hours β it didn't open until 12pm and closed at 5.30pm, which felt quite late opening. The receptionists were pleasant, friendly and spoke good English. The grounds around the hotel were also very well looked after. There is a small shop just below the hotel, although it only stocks a few basic items and is unfortunately only open from 11am until 6pm. One thing I did notice, which I wasn't particularly impressed with, was the bakery leaving fresh baguettes hanging from the door handle in full sun. There is also a larger bar and food area below the hotel which is associated with the hotel. The food there was lovely, although unfortunately the cocktails were a 2/10 in our opinion! Overall The apartment, pool, grounds, cleanliness and staff were all very good, but unfortunately the constant construction noise from the hotel across the road completely overshadowed the positives and had a significant impact on our two-week stay. Had we been made aware of the extent of the refurbishment and the level of noise beforehand, we would definitely have reconsidered booking.
My one star is based on my holiday experience and not the hotel, I would have given the hotel a four star rating otherwise.
Very spacious clean and Quiet apartments staff are very friendly shop and restaurant onsite, 20 minute walk along the coastal path to other restaurants and shops 5 min by taxi.
Was there for ten nights. First time on the island. Lovely little complex. Was clean and tidy. Beds where good. Only down side as being a self catering complex there is nothing around to get breakfast early. Bar and little shop does not open till 11 am. So if you want to go out for an early breakfast. Have to walk about 25 minutes to 30 to the bars along the seafront. They open about 9 - 10 ish. Otherwise we had a nice stay.
What a fantastic place this really is if you want a peaceful relaxing holiday. It is the first time we have self catered in Lanzarote but we will certainly be returning to here. Playa Blanca is such a nice place and we enjoyed it even more this time as Palmeras is away from the busier areas. The apartment was better than we thought it was going to be and had a fantastic sea view. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and the whole complex is not built up. The pool area is lovely and sunbeds are always available no matter what time you go down to it. The staff are all really friendly including the cleaners. There is a small shop on the site which is open 11-6 for any essential items. This shop is handy as it is the only supermarket in the vicinity which you have to bear in mind when staying here. The arena bar is fantastic and the food served here is very good indeed. The beach is a 2 minute walk away and there are a few restaurants over the road as well as a brilliant cocktail bar if you want to eat or drink out. There is a bus stop behind the complex if you do not fancy the scenic walk into Playa Blanca centre which runs roughly every half an hour. A taxi back from here will only cost up to 4 euro which worked out cheaper for a family of four. We will definitely return to Palmeras Garden as we all loved it. I couldnβt really fault anything and we all had a fabulous time.
