I came here August 25. Fell through the door as the glass was missing onto a stone bench and badly bruised my side. Hotel offered no help / ice pack and said if I wanted a doctor it would be 100 euro. The food was not great. There was one bar open with huge queues. Therefore we ended up purchasing drinks in the sports bar which came at a charge. Personally, I wouldn't revisit but this is probably standard for a three star hotel and I know people who have returned year on year - I think it's a very big case of 'you get what you pay for'.
Also to note which I think people found ok but throughout the lobby near the restaurant - which has no roof - there were large, live and dead, cockroaches every time we came. Unavoidable to an extent with an open roof but they could be more savvy in ensuring they stay on top of removing these as quickly as possible. Some dead ones remained there from breakfast to the evening meal.
Donβt believe the pictures! Very run down hotel unfortunately. Staff were not very friendly or helpful, especially the chaps running the food hall / canteen. Food was VERY repetitive and not of quality youβd expect for the rating of the hotel. Disappointing stay. Only plus is itβs 5 minutes from the airport.
Bring your own food it's not good
We stayed at this hotel for 10 nights of a party of 13 adults and children. I read all the reviews leading up to my stay and it did slightly worry me....... but I shouldn't of listened. The location is great, the transfer took like 10 minutes which after a 4 hour flight was lovely, right on the beach and with a large park aswell. The planes were cool to watch landing and noise didnt bother us it really wasn't that loud just back ground noise! We all had a lovely time at the Hotel, the pool areas were lovely they do need a deep clean in some areas and TLC but that didnt affect our swim It was really nice to have a heated pool for the kids when it was windy, but be warned the white bit around the pool can be slippery. The food was nice I think people seem to expect Gordon Ramsey! Its a buffet and caters for 100s of people daily so I expected a buffet and thats what it is, there was always something to find, the bakery bit was lovely. There is a salad and cold bar, Hot food, and grilling meat and fish fresh also the Paella was yummy π We tried all the other restaurants aswell that you had to book and they were all nice to, recommend to try and book when you arrive as the spaces fill up quickly. The entertainment bar was good there was ques but they went down quickly the staff were always trying their best with serving. The entertainment was good only issue was the childrens disco is at 830pm which is quite late for my 4yr old may be worth having two childrens discos maybe one earlier for the younger children. Didn't meet one horrible staff member they were all pleasant and helpful. The room did need some TLC the wood on the bathroom door and table needing replacing but it didnt affect my stay as it didnt bother me. The rooms were clean and were cleaned daily, the beds were comfy and the shower was good. I did use the spa which was lovely and relaxing it was 18 euro for 2 hours and there was about 9 people in there so nice a peaceful, but the steam room needs more steam. Had a massage aswell which was lovely and relaxing. The hotel is massive which was nice in the sense of it never really seemed to feel overcrowded even though they were probably full, it did feel busy at points at dinner and the pool but I expected that. We never went hungry, we always could get a drink (note it is worth bringing a plastic cup from home as ones provided are small), we went on a excursion early and they made us a snack pack (we ordered) which was nice. Overall we had a lovely time at this hotel, there were a few things that do need attention but nothing that would ruin our hoilday that we have been looking forward to for over year. We have amazing memories of our family hoilday.
!!STAY AWAY!! STAFF ARE RUDE, I got into heated conversation with a staff member behind the pool bar for not serving my daughters boyfriend because she acused him of stealing my wrist band, I then went to the bar to sort it out but ended up having my drink SPIKED!!! The only person who had access to my drink was that same staff member. Police are involved in the uk however Spanish police dont wanna know and hotel juat dont care!! Everything covered up!!! Stay clear as I nearly didnt make it home.
