Great stay for a budget hotel. Ignore negative reviews!
Reading reviews I was absolutely dreading our 4 night stay! But I was very pleasantly surprised. So this was a cheeky in between holiday for us, so we fully expected to get what we paid for and we got this cheap! After staying we’re already planning on booking again. We never eat in the hotels we stay in so can’t rate food at all. Positives; Nice big room with beautiful view of mountains and sea from balcony. ALWAYS free sun loungers as hotel ensure no reserving with towels. Never a queue at bar and staff very friendly. Drinks good too and because of the 1 euro cup deposit the pool side remained clean and tidy. Location spot on. Beds so comfortable. Negatives; Shower head was held on interestingly and risked flooding bathroom. Housekeeping tried to breakdown our door one morning despite a Do Not Disturb sign and key in bank of door 😂 Pool is very deep, literally nowhere you can stand up in and I’m 5’8! But I like to swim so no biggy.
If you expect the Ritz you’ll be disappointed but if you understand you get what you pay for you’ll enjoy yourself. We’ll definitely be back here for our next budget holiday ❤️
Think twice before booking
All I wanted was a clean decent 3 star hotel , I didn’t need amazing food or facilities and was very realistic with what I was booking after reading the reviews. The staff try their best but this hotel needs major investment to improve. I’m horrified to learn that what I suspected was just average mosquito bites on myself and 10 year are in fact bed bug bites!

Great.
Yes it is a 3 star and tired but we booked knowing this and it has not let us down. The facilities are great. Staff lovely. Pool area lovely. We have not seen one rush for beds, there are plenty to go around. The AI drinks package is extensive. The food is great. The usual breakfast items, cooked breakfast, cereals, breads, meats and cheese. Lunch and dinner, clams, fish, ribs, chicken, spaghetti, salads, ice cream etc. Hire pool towels for €10 and €10 deposit. Drink cups are €1. Hair and body wash in the bathrooms. A good 25 stroll down hill to the new town and a STEEP hill back up but we have walked it every evening with an 8 year old and 2 teens who have not moaned once. All in all a very good experience. If the hotel were to clean the glass around the pool and tidy up some paintwork it would look entirely different.

Great holiday
I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews. This is rated as a 3 star hotel, so when booking you are aware of this and many have a certain expectation. I did. My concerns before arrival were quashed within the first day. Yes, the hotel is tired and in need of some tlc, but it's clean and functional. The food was great, no complaints there. Staff were helpful and polite. The pool area was clean and we never had a problem with sun beds. You are located a good 25 minute walk from Puerto Del Carmen centre, and its up hill all the way home. Didn't bother us though. All in all, we had a great holiday.

Cheap and Cheerful
We really enjoyed this hotel. It’s pretty basic but rooms were clean enough. Staff were friendly and worked hard especially in the restaurant. Food was simple but enjoyable. The pool area was clean and plenty of sun Loungers. The atmosphere was chill but lively. Overall, a good basic hotel for a cheap budget.
