I spent 7 nights here in a Premier terrace room with my 10 year old daughter as a single dad. The hotel is a short 10 minute drive from the airport and on arrival you can tell it is kept immaculately clean. Check in was very prompt and were quickly given the keys to our 1st floor room. The rooms are a good size with good shower and very large balcony, the room had a mini bar with soft drinks for no extra charge and a coffee machine. The rooms are cleaned daily to a high standard. Breakfast options were very good catering for all nationalities and freshly made 😋 and never felt very busy. Now for the best bit the hotels lovely pool area, this is one of the first hotel I have stayed in where guests aren't putting out towels on sunbeds at silly o clock and this is well managed by the hotel always able to get a sunbed no problem another thing I noted was when guests went out or for lunch they would take everything with them freeing up there sunbeds....there is also no ball games or inflatables aloud in the pool which was also nice as it never felt crowded. Nice music played around the pool and the aqua aerobics guy was a nice character and not at all pushy if you just wanted to be left alone. We ate in the pool bar every lunchtime which was good quality 👌. Another thing I would like to mention oneday we came back to our room and noticed the air-conditioning had been leaking mainly due to the heatwave this was fixed super quick and a loose leg on one of the beds again fixed very quickly with no complaints. This is fabulous hotel well worth its stars 🌟 thank you for a lovely stay
Great holiday, hotel location great for beach and close to airport. Hotel very clean, rooms were good and selection at breakfast was excellent, something that suited everyone in our party. Only negative for this hotel is that the bar closes at 11pm and would have been better if it was open till midnight in the middle of summer.
We stayed at Alua Leo and overall had a pleasant experience. The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the location was excellent, just a short walk from the beach and close to the airport.
The rooms were comfortable and well maintained, and the pool area was nice and relaxing. The breakfast offered a good variety of food, although the meat selection was a bit limited for dinner and lunch.
Overall, it is a good hotel for a relaxing holiday with good value for money.
Overall, the hotel was fine, but there were several small issues that made us feel it wasn’t worth the price we paid. The biggest disappointment was the mattress, which was old and badly worn out, making it difficult to get a good night’s sleep. The room layout was also unexpected, as the bedroom and bathroom were in the same open space, which wasn’t clear from the photos and was inconvenient for us. In addition, the room door was poorly insulated, so a significant amount of light from the hallway came into the room at night. Finally, while the breakfast offered a good variety of food, it was often difficult to find a free table, many tables had not been fully reset, and the drink machine was frequently out of order.
The hotel's location is fantastic – just 10 minutes from the airport, making transfers quick and easy.
From the outside, the hotel may not look particularly impressive, but don't let that fool you. Inside, it was immaculately clean throughout, with every area maintained to a very high standard.
There was never a rush to secure a sunbed, and even during busier periods we were always able to find one. The pool bar was excellent, and a special mention goes to Antonio and Heidi, who were both fantastic.
The entertainment looked great, although it seemed a little underappreciated during our stay due to the World Cup football being on.
The area surrounding the hotel was brilliant, with plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. We also took the little tourist train from outside the hotel into El Arenal. While it was a bit too busy and lively for our taste, younger visitors would probably love the atmosphere.
The only aspect that might make me think twice about returning is the rooms, which were quite basic. It felt as though every available bit of space had been utilised, and even the communal toilets were on the small side. Storage was limited, and a few drawers in the bedside cabinets would have made a big difference. That said, you really only sleep in the room, and we were lucky enough to have a fabulous pool view.
Overall, we had a wonderful week here and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The excellent location, cleanliness, facilities, and surrounding area far outweighed the few minor drawbacks, and I would happily recommend the hotel to others.
