Universal Romantica Hotel

Stayed at hotel for 10 days with my partner. When we arrived we was provided with dinner as we had arrived late. Lola on the reception was very warm and welcoming. The young man with the tattoo on his neck who works the bar was so polite and very helpful, there was a lovely young girl who frequently worked the bars - always had plaits and was a uni student, we was incredibly impressed by both of these works for their service and politeness. Our cleaner was so sweet and warm and wrote me a personalised message for my birthday - we was on level 4. We frequently saw the management at the hotel who were always polite and smiley with greetings. The only downside was one of the waitresses speaking to us a bit abruptly around us having our water bottles in the restaurant - we had come from the beach, there wasn’t any signs to say we couldn’t bring them in and we both felt it could of been handled better. The sun beds was a bit of an issue due to people putting towels down at 7am and disappearing for half the day. The hotel was incredibly clean, well staffed and had beautiful features. The beach being so close by was so incredible and the entertainment was fantastic nightly. The food was great. The room was so clean and had a great view looking into the beach.

What a lovely hotel. Spotlessly clean overlooking the sea on the south of the island. Very quiet area, mainly an adults hotel although some young children when we stayed. Fairly spacious bedrooms with ensuit (walk in shower). Superb restaurant breakfast. Lunch & Evening meals fantastic choice of home & international food hot & cold selection and sweet selection you could die for ! With friendly smiling staff nothing was too much trouble in all parts of the hotel. Sky bar on 7th floor roof of hotel open from 18.30 - 23.00 fantastic views of the area - some of the weeks evening entertainment up here. Entertainment was in generally excellent - see 'Tina (Turner) Experience' if you get the chance ( her name is 'Tina' by the way). In general hotel is wonderful especially if going as couples Our only bad experience we had was on the night before coming home we were woken at 2am by water pouring in our room from the room above. The guy left his shower running - he was using his shower towel as a mat that then blocked the drain - he then went to sleep flooding his room and two others on our floor (4) We had lost count how many towels it took to mop up. Extra Info:- Couple of local shops within 5 mins of hotel and on same road as hotel. for basic essentials - 15 mins down and to the right more selection of shops also bus stop to Campos 517 bus 13miles away approx every half an hour. ( bus journey paid by debit card, one tap per person - remember one tap to tap off all groups of passengers. Campos has a beautiful market (visited on Friday). Be carefully to remember how to get back to the bus stop lots of side streets easy to loose sence of direction. Campus is also where you need to change buses if you head to Palma - buses 501e or 501e Palma is approx just over 1hr from hotel. If not shopping in Palma do the Sightseeing tour - hop on hop off tour approx 30 euros - very good

Really nice hotel stay out of high season - room was great and we always found something nice to eat in the buffet. Reasonably priced too and in a very quiet area - a few kids staying in the hotel but nothing to spoil the vibe!
