Due to the surrounding area and the number of steps around the hotel, it may not be suitable for those with mobility difficulties.
We have just returned home from an amazing week away, which we wish could have been longer! The hotels location is perfect - close to the beach, shops and bars if you wish - but not so close that you can hear the late night shenanigans if you don’t want to. The hotel is small and that helps to make it extra special, as there are no morning fights for sunbeds, even in peak season, with plenty for everyone who wants one and no need to get up at 6am to reserve one! The food is good and plenty of varied selection, with a spacious restaurant and snack bar options when the restaurant isn’t open, the food even suiting my fussy children with always lots for them to eat- we didn’t have to queue even once to get in. Plenty of drinks choices on the all inclusive and even premium San Miguel on draught beer - never waiting more than 2 minutes to get served even at peak times! The rooms we saw were all good, clean, spacious, pretty comfy beds and nice bathrooms and balconies. Finally the staff were excellent throughout the hotel ; the reception, cleaning staff and bar and waiting staff all friendly, helpful and super- efficient at their jobs. One massive shout to the entertainment team for the day and nights activities. A variety of nationalities, but all worked great and hard to keep the adults and children all entertained and having fun. Headed up by the brilliant Gabriel, who was a breathe of fresh air - always able to put a smile on the faces of the kids and adults alike, being a really great advert for the hotel and the brand alike. Don’t expect the premium entertainment acts, as it’s a small hotel, and these alike are pretty basic - but fun. We would definitely return and hopefully make as many good friends again as we did this year - Thanks Fergus Bermudas for looking after us so well 😎👌🏼
We stayed for 10-nights as a blended family of 7 - with 'kids' ages ranging from 14-18 and had a fantastic time. Initial impressions were that it was a much smaller hotel than what we were used to - however this meant that there were no sun-lounger issues - easily getting 2-4 loungers together up to 9am most days - minimal bar queuing times (on-tap St Miguel and branded soft drinks), decent food on offer and an exceptional entertainment team led by Gabriel made this the best family holiday!
Rooms were spacious and cleaned daily. It is very close to the beach and other local shops/bars and restaurants. There is some noise from the bar located opposite the hotel at night, but to be expected and did not cause a problem for us with rooms facing that direction.
The size of the hotel also created a pleasant community vibe with us getting to know some lovely people during our stay which made for lively evenings with the live music and quiz nights on offer.
The daytime entertainment included pool, darts, table-tennis, water-polo, boules etc - a great variety for those wanting to get involved and no pressure to do so either. There is also an air-conditioned gym on-site. The pool is on the small side but enough provided people pay attention to the rules re no inflatable lilos etc!
I would add that there is a lower garden area with even more loungers available if you do not want/need to be pool-side. There could be more shaded areas in this space (we went during a heatwave with temps averaging 36-38 degrees most days).
There is a tennis court but I do not recall it being used during our stay. A much better use of the space, or the wider garden area perhaps, would be a multi-sport court with football goals, basketball hoops etc.
I would certainly consider a return to this hotel based on my recent experience and a number of people we met on our stay were in fact on a repeat visit themselves.
A brilliant stay from start to finish.
From arrival, reception recognised we had stayed before and even though we had to wait a short while for our room, we were not disappointed, we were allocated a great room.
There was a lovely mix of groups, families and couples. Whilst we have travelled before outside of the main holiday peak-season, we were not impacted in the slightest, indeed we were blessed to meet some lovely people.
Food was OK but what do you expect? Drinks were plentiful and without delay and Gabriele from the entertainment team was top notch, a lovely man, full of energy who is a credit to the Fergus brand.
We have just returned home from a 10 night stay at Fergus Bermudas in Palmanova. When we first arrived we were slightly concerned that it was a much smaller hotel than we were used to. What this actually meant was that we experienced absolutely no sun-bed wars, there were simply enough beds for everyone who wanted one, we never had to queue for drinks or meals & we made friends with several other guests during our stay. Gabriel, who heads up the entertainment team was exceptional. We would absolutely return to this hotel.
We stayed for one week AI - the hotel has a brilliant selection of food and one of the nicest food for lunch/dinner ever had. Breakfast is the standard breakfasts when you are away but still a nice selection. I am Ceoliac and had fresh baguettes cooked when I wanted them and pasta. GF cereals/ rice cakes/ muffins at breakfast but no sliced bread.
Sun loungers we never had a problem getting any and there was 6 of us. The pool is not massive and some days quite busy but we knew this and still wasn’t a problem.
We were not disappointed we had an issue with our room as was facing the tennis courts at back of hotel and there is a very noisy bar that stays open until 3am- it’s kept us awake first night but we saw reception in the morning and we were moved- book a pool view room for sure- this bar is an issue for the hotel as many rooms face the bar.
Entertainment was good we joined in which we normally don’t. The staff work very hard and all shift around and are friendly.
We went to a market in Peguera (Tuesday) and did a dolphin watch boat trip from Santa Ponsa which was really good and worth the money.
Lovely week away
